This is an adorable house. Very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. It's close to shopping and dining. This was perfect for my husband, me and our dog. We have family in the area and visit frequently. I would love to stay at the Tinley house again.

Communication was excellent!
We had a few changes to our travel plans and Patti was very quick with a response and offered advice to help us. We had a great time and the space seemed small but felt large. Tons to do in the area as well.

The Tinley House was perfect for our long weekend in the Shawnee National Forest. The house was a cozy little stay. Beds were comfortable, but a little low to the floor. Convenient to Garden of the Gods, but a bit further from the Wine Trail. A nice alternative to staying in a motel.

Tinley House in Harrisburg, Illinois
Tinley house was a comfortable clean get-away that was a great place to relax after exploring the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. Hiking in the Garden of the Gods was the highlight of our trip and we appreciated the Tinley house when we were done because we could cook our meals and enjoy watching t.v. We really enjoyed our stay; we came to town to see what the Squatch fest was all about and enjoy the Shawnee National Forest. The house was adorable just like the real Tinley for whom the house is named after. There were even coffee and snacks! Thank you!

Above and beyond
We were there to visit Garden of the Gods and other hiking. It fit our needs perfectly and was exactly as described. The hosts provided the "and then some" treatment to make our stay special including cupcakes for my birthday and a bone for our foster dog.

I and a brother found The Tinley House impeccably clean and comfortable. Dave and Patti are gracious hosts, supplying much appreciated snacks and coffee.
Being bikers, the garage was frosting on the cake.
Whenever I am in the area overnight again, I will check out the availability of The Tinley House first.

The Tinley house was named after our granddaughter. She has a rare syndrome ( one in 60,000) rare. It’s called Wolf Hirchhorn. Because of the effects of the syndrome she will always be small. It also affects the kidneys. She doesn’t walk or talk but has a way of letting us know what she wants. Tinley was born in 2015. At this time she is 9 and weighs 23 pounds.
When we purchased this house and remodeled it I thought this reminds me of Tinley. Such an adorable cozy home. This is our story. If you get the chance to stay at the Tinley House leave us a comment in our guest book.
