Everything was as promised. The house was lovely and very clean. There was more than enough cutlery, plates, utensils etc. and all the gadgets worked. The pool was a great bonus and we spent a lot of time there! We were a large family group of nine and we had plenty of space. There are lots of charming villages close by (5-10 minute drive) and Bergerac is only half an hour away. I like to always give a balanced review and, in all honesty, I cannot think of anything negative to say. Perhaps the best comment is that we would like to return!

A great property!

This property is very tastefully renovated and spacious, and the two kitchens worked very well for us. Our host was there to greet us and introduce us to the property and was very contactable throughout our stay. The pool area was excellent and there was also plenty of space for our teenagers to play ball games. A great property for a family holiday.

This is a stunning property, well equipped and beautifully laid out. We were a family of 10, aged between 5 months and 73 and this holiday house suited us all! We spent a huge amount of time around the swimming pool, certainly one of the nicest we have experienced of many holiday rental pools. As the weather was very hot we didnt spend much time in the house so can't comment on the cinema room but it was nice to know it was there if the weather had changed. The 2 kitchens took a bit of getting used to, but actually were great once we decided to use 1 for drinks and daytime snacking and the other for proper cooked meals.Fans were provided in most rooms, much appreciated at night. Local supermarket was about 15mins away and is well stocked. The property had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean, the hosts were easily contacted if needed. Mossie spray essential for the wonderful nights spent sitting outside with the twinkling lights and a glass or two of wine. Highly recommended.

An incredible property in the French Dordogne

We had an incredible time at the house. Great option for larger groups (5 couples, 2 singles, and one infant). Nathalene was very helpful as a host. Very large property that was very clean, excellent facilities, an amazing pool to spend wholes days at, and a great location near Bergerac airport and the surrounding Dordogne region! Highly recommend!

Great house, great pool.

Three families stayed. Photos on website don’t do justice to how nice the house is. You definitely need a car. Be aware of arriving Sunday afternoon, almost nothing open to buy food. Overall, fantastic place to stay, would recommend.

French rural idyll

Ideal for what we needed, which was a large space with a great pool and all the facilities to cater for ourselves. You definitely need cars because there are no bars or restaurants or shops within walking distance (save for the nearby naturist resort, which we didn't fancy). However it is a beautiful, quiet spot and allowed us to have a restful totally indulgent family time all together.

Excellent, would visit again A+

All in all a lovely property, some interpretation issues with bathrooms in bedrooms as had expected full ensuite facilities in these rooms. Showers all excellent and all the equipment you might need for a self catering property. Pool was well maintained with ample loungers. Nathalene was very helpful and gave us pointers for meals.out. Visited Bergerac, Bordeaux, Monpazier and Issigeac all very beautiful went kayaking with Canoe24 along the Dordogne excellent holiday could have stayed longer. Great friendly owner, very pleasant experience highly recommend a stay here.

Superb accommodation

Wonderful week in this property, exceptional condition and ideal for a family group stay. We had 11 people in all 7 bedrooms, 4 rooms with own showers and 3 toilets, 2 kitchens with large fridges, loads of indoor and outdoor space particularly for dining and the added bonus on a cinema room! Pool is well kept, clean with superb views, this is an outstanding property for getting together and having time to explore the area or relax with family and friends.Beaumont and Issigeac are within 10 mins drive, large supermarkets in Bergerac about 20 mins away, lots of lovely wee towns to explore or vineyards to discover.Great communication before, during and post stay, no issues at all.Highly recommend this beautiful property, we hope to return to the area soon.

Family get-together.

Family occasion, 12 people age range 15-80. 7 rooms so plenty of space for everyone. 2 kitchens & dining areas. There is a sliding partition so I guess the property could be divided in 2 if needed. It was too cold to use the pool so cannot comment on that. Note that this is a sparsely populated part of France, towns & services are far apart. Mobile coverage patchy at best. The main attraction is caves and cave art. Be prepared to drive 100-200km per day to see them.
