I am a veteran cabin renter, so this is not my first rodeo. The property is listed as having three bedrooms, sleeping six. That is overstated as any more than two adults would have been extremely cramped. The living room and fold out futon is listed as a bedroom. The pictures make the place look bigger than what it is and a medium throw rug would cover the entire living room space. The living room had one small table top lamp and could’ve used a floor lamp and one other table top lamp for the sofa area. I would not plan on cooking a meal at the stove, as there is no overhead hood and the oven is small. The place will fill with smoke if you cook something as small as bacon or sausage. I had to open the windows in 23° weather to air the place out, so anything more than reheating is not recommended. The Wi-Fi is good and easy to connect to. The Roku TV system has many applications listed as available, but you need the Roku pin password to actually access some apps with your credentials. I requested the pin number, and the owner would not give it to me citing concerns I may spend money and not reimburse him. This was ridiculous as they had my credit card on file. The simple courtesy of a phone call to me could’ve cleared everything up as all I wanted to do was download a very popular cable network news application. My reservation was for three days, but I checked out in 20 hours. I would never go back.
