Nice Cabin, uncomfortable beds

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visually this cabin is fantastic. Unfortunately there were a couple things that weren’t so great that led to a subpar stay. The beds were cheap and uncomfortable, poorly placed sheets that slide off as you slept, quilts were warm, but there weren’t any extra bedding sets. Shower curtain didn’t fit the shower, water sprayed out a bit. The towel policy is ridiculous. Bleach and clean them. They aren’t worth $6-$24 if they accidentally get soiled or stained, they are towels. Mix and match of cups and dishware, along with poorly cared for pots and pans. Invest in stainless steel pans, easy to clean. No broom and pan for the shuffle board table. The heater electronic panel appears to have some water damage. And last but not least the couch in the living area was not comfortable or cozy, futon style couch where the back support pillows fall off easily.

The home has a nice and open floor plan, and the exterior deck at the front is super nice. There are three bedrooms, with two having access to the backyard which was nice. The back yard has a single chair and hot tub. It could really be nice if it was landscaped and add a table and chairs. Also, a step for hot tub is needed. The house seemed clean but as we sat down to eat, the table had not even been wiped. The floors were also super dirty. A damp papertowel swiped on the floor was black. Dishwasher was broken which was fine, but no sponges were left. Had to buy one. Refrig was great! The kitchen lacked a lot- no scissors, several items that seemed to be from dollar store or that was the quality. I write this so the owners can know in case they haven’t stayed in the home recently that adding higher quality items would be awesome. The living room couch was comfy. An additional chair would be nice. The group who we checked in with was great and super responsive. Overall a nice stay but a little investment could make this a 5/5.

Could have been better

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice location and nice home but could have been better. We reported several issues after checking in and only 2 were taken care of our entire visit. I expected better for what we paid. You are required to start the dishwasher before checkout but the dishwasher doesn't even work! The hot tube was nice but not easy way to get in and out other then climb over the side. Would have loved to eat on the patio but with the blinding sun we asked where the umbrella is and were told we have no idea. Wouldn't rent again

Clean family friendly property

This was a very clean and family friendly property. Nicely furnished but not "overly" furnished which is important when traveling with a toddler. We would happily recommend this to anyone traveling with kids, young and old. Central location and very comfortable.
