Brent and Jennette Gerlitz are very excited to have recently taken over Sand Lake Lodge. Along with their two daughters Violette (6) and Ondine (3) they have just made the move back to Minnesota from NYC in order to keep the tradition in the family. Brent is the son of Wayne and Shelley Gerlitz, the current owners of the resort – they will soon be retiring after more than 20 years of operation.

Sand Lake Lodge is a family owned and operated fishing and family resort providing a friendly atmosphere and genuine hospitality. We have 5 very clean housekeeping cabins just feet from the shoreline. Our cabins have been immaculately maintained since the 40's with a few modern upgrades to allow for a perfect mix of true relaxation and keeping up with the outside world (if necessary). We have boats and motors available for rent and canoes, kayaks and bicycles that you are welcome to use during your stay.
Being here on the lake is truly a unique experience that you are sure to love and remember forever.
