This place was perfect for what we needed. Close to lots of food and grocers, not far from the highway. It was a great space for our family get together, and the kids had so much fun with the games and everything. It was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely tell anyone looking for a place in the area to stay here.

Everything was wonderful. We had a great time. Everything was clean whenever we got here, and the amenities were excellent. We had a great time, and I'd definitely go back.

The kitchen had everything we needed. The pots and pans could use an upgrade. The bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. TVs in every bedroom which we didn't need because we were all so happy to sit and chat and play games at the table. The game room was fun even for us 50 guests. The cooking was a bit awkward as the Jenn Aire fan didn't work and the stove is under a window. The host was very prompt in communication and had offered to come over to fix the fan in the stove. We declined as it wasn't necessary, just wanted them informed. We would definitely stay again, if we return to KC.

This property is idea for a large group. We stayed for a family reunion and found Lost Trombone to be ideal. It’s a beautiful home and the check in/out was a very easy process. I highly recommend this property, there is something there for everybody, young and old!

Disappointed

We had several issues while staying. Something was wrong with the dryer and was venting inside the home. We had ants all over the kitchen counter and there weren't basic toiletries in each of the bathrooms.

We had the best stay at the Lost Trombone! The home had everything we needed and plenty of space for our large family! Can’t wait to go back!

Quick trip to KC area for Spring Break- house was well stocked, host was easy to contact. House is in a safe, walkable residential area near everything you need. Great house for families with kids.

Wonderful place. Enough space to enjoy the family visit for the wedding. Few things like no batteries in the controls and lights flicker. No propane for the grill, but we bought charcoal. Would recommend

Nice House

We enjoyed our stay. This is a nice house in a nice neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The beds were comfortable. The dining room table was huge. There was enough seating in the living areas for an army. We would stay there again.

Nice Rental close to Overland Park

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. We found it pretty well equipped, but not as organized and clean as other rentals that we have rented. It definitely fit our group though, and we would rent it again. :)

Family stay

The home is located to a lot of restaurant and 20-30 to downtown Kansas City. The home is very spacious, with beautiful furniture. The table is massive. The kids and adults loved the video games and back area. We had an issue checking in, but the host was quick in responding and matter was taken care of quickly. We didn’t like the tv is near the kitchen and table and not in the family room area. The bed in the master bedroom is very high, so had to use a stepstool to get into it. The water pressure is great in the bathrooms. The beds are very firm/hard.

Big house in great location!

The house was clean and very spacious for 4 adults and 3 children. The kids loved the air hockey & PacMan. Very nice neighborhood and location was perfect for doing activities in the area or downtown KC. The kids loved Science City and all the fun activities there! This house worked well for our group.

Family visit for grandchild’s baptism

This was the perfect situation for us as a family. Comfortable very clean and with coffee (yay) and baby items useful for infants. Lovely neighborhood right by our Kansas City families in Olathe. Close to Prince of Peace church.
