Apartment "Fiorita" is located up in the hills above Stresa (about 250 m) and has panoramic views over Lake Maggiore. It is surrounded by a large garden and is only 1 km (10 minutes walk) from the bustling town centre of Stresa. It is 42 km from Milan-Malpensa airport. The location is very peaceful and quiet.

It is situated on the 2nd floor with a lift. The bright spacious living room (25m2) has been stylishly furnished and has a comfortable pull-down double bed (200 x 160 cm or 5'3" x 6'5"). This is a proper bed and not a sofa bed. There is also satellite television and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, combi-microwave oven, kettle, toaster, electric coffee-machine etc), as well as a dining area. The living room opens out onto a terrace (30m2) with table and chairs, sofa and 2 sunloungers where you can eat outside and enjoy the panoramic views over Lake Maggiore.

The double bedroom (or twin-bedded room) is of a good size and, like the living-room, it too opens out onto the terrace and has a lake view. Spacious bathroom with large shower and a bidet. There is a separate communal laundry room with washing-machine, tumble-dryer, iron etc.

Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and heating included in the price. Garage and parking (+ EV-charging point). On the terrace, you also have a power point to charge electric bikes.

Stresa makes a perfect base from which to explore the wonders of Lago Maggiore: hop on any ferry to discover the magic of the Borromeo Islands, the fascinating villas along the shore, the Piedmont towns of Arona and Intra and the picturesque town of Laveno nestled on the other side of the lake in Lombardy.

You can even take a full-day boat tour all the way up the lake to Switzerland (Ascona and Locarno). Stresa's railway station connects you easily with Milan, where you can shop, sightsee, or simply sip a coffee and watch the world go by in the famous Piazza del Duomo.

The price is based on 2 people; for any additional person, it is 25 Euros per night (+ VRBO commission). The apartment can sleep 4 people.

Please note there is the Holiday Tax (Tassa di Soggiorno) of 1 Euro per person per day, children under 6 excluded, to pay on arrival (in cash).

A dog is welcome (for a supplement).
