Great views of the Gulf! Property itself a little frustrating

Portofino is beautiful! The 14th story view described in the listing is accurately amazing. We spend every morning and evening, and pretty much anytime we weren't on the beach or the pools, out on the balcony. The view cant be beat. Listening to the waves and people watching on high was fun. We ordered via Instacart for groceries from a local store, which will be a must for anyone looking to rent here. We reserved the property with full knowledge that we would be buying/making our own food (as in, this isn't a hotel where you can order room service etc, and eating at the restaurant on site can get expensive and a little redundant, as in not a huge selection of options on the menu). What we found frustrating though was we had to order very simple things like salt & pepper, other spices that one would find in a simple spice rack, paper towels, keurig coffee pods (there is a keurig there, but would it hurt if there were some pods already there in the cupboard to get us started?), and lysol wipes (COVID day and age, would be nice to have a starter pack of wipes). There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer, but no detergent for either. There was also no hand soap in the kitchen, just dish detergent for washing dishes in the sink. We were able to get products from the front desk, but why were these not already in the room? We had to request toilet paper, as there was just one extra roll in the whole place, for 3 bathrooms. Two bathrooms had rolls with only 1/4th roll left. Its very likely that these deficits are more a reflection of the property management company than the property itself. But in interest of an honest review, we wanted to include this. The living room furniture is well-used and extremely non-supportive. Needed to use multiple bed pillows to support ourselves in the chairs/couch. The two easy chairs (the white ones, in the pictures), have slipcovers over them that were filthy. Stains and smears of unknown substances. It seems the slip covers were not regularly removed and washed in between clients. So, we rated the property ultimately 4 stars because the location and view was stunning and more than we could have expected, but not 5 due to the property problems itself. If you reserve here, know that you may need to rely heavily on the property managers as well as plan on stocking the shelves with basic essentials (not something we were expecting to have to do on vacation).
