My wife and I live in Cincinnati, where I keep busy as a lawyer, a professor at Northern Kentucky University's Chase School of Law, and a landlord for our rental properties near UC campus. We love spending time with our family -- three children, five grandchildren, and two nieces. We especially love taking vacations as a family, and we like to include other members of our family -- siblings, in-laws, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and parents.
For years, our family vacationed in a place for three years -- like Lake Cumberland, the Outer Banks, and Destin, Florida. And then for various reasons, we moved on to another location. In 2015, we rented a vacation home on Lake Norris and returned the next two summers. But after three consecutive years, we realized that we still wanted to come back to Norris Lake. It was only four hours away -- not too far for our older children to drive with their young families. Not too far for our children in college to drive. And not too far for my parents to drive. Then we realized that if we bought a place, we could come down whenever we wanted -- all year long!
So we started looking for a place to call our own on Lake Norris.
