Great home for a family reunion

Lots of room for lots of family. Clubhouse, pool and pickleball courts. Good beach access. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful time!

We just finished our family reunion at the Hidden Chateau and had a wonderful time there. A beautiful home with lots of room. Everything was great! We would recommend this to any family looking for memorable time together. There is a lot to do in the area - hikes, water, boating, eating, etc. Highly recommended.

Amazing family reunion!

This was an amazing experience for us all. The home accommodated our large family beautifully and the kitchen had room for each family to bring their own food! There was some fun in the cabin for all ages and the view of the lake spectacular. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Everyone agrees we should do it again in two years!!

Perfect for our large family

wonderful home, perfect for reunions

We really enjoyed our time at the Hidden Chateau. We had 30 people, but the home could have easily fit many more. There were plenty of rooms for parents with additional space for kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and there was plenty of refrigerator space to hold all of our perishables. There were a variety of spaces available for everyone to gather for visiting, playing games, or watching movies. It was inconvenient to have just one fob to access the amenities: when you are hosting up to 50 people, it would be nice to have multiple fobs so that the group can split up, if desired. Only one room had an issue: the Victorian (upstairs king) was quite a bit warmer than the rest of the home and wouldn't cool down, despite using multiple fans. The A/C could not be turned down further without causing the unit to freeze up so the couple in that room was just uncomfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and everyone in our group said they would return if the opportunity arose. Thank you so much for making this lovely home available!

Great cabin!

Our family has been renting cabins at Bear Lake for 17 years. Our family has grown during those years so we keep needing a larger cabin to accommodate everyone. The Hidden Chateau was perfect for our family. Every couple had a private bedroom and there were bedrooms with multiple beds where the unmarried cousins could stay together. There were plenty of bathrooms and they all worked well. (We've had a couple of cabins where there were plenty of bathrooms but they didn't all work.) The kitchen was well stocked with labels on the drawers and cupboards so we knew where to find items and where to put them away. Two dishwashers made cleaning up after meals fast and easy. The family enjoyed the pool table and the theater room. When we arrived at the Hidden Chateau the heating/cooling system was turned to heat. Upstairs it was about 80°. I called Julie who apologized and contacted the owner. The air conditioning came on soon after my phone call. I appreciated the quick response. This was the second summer that we've stayed at the Hidden Chateau. We plan to come back.

Family Reunion at Bear Lake

This is an outstanding home for a large family gathering. We have stayed at four other properties in the Reserve and this is far superior. The large kitchen, gathering space, and many bedrooms made this the best!!

Amazing stay!

All we heard from family members was how perfect this place was for our family! We could be together or in separate areas in the house. Teens loved the beach access and pools. Pre-teens loved the video games and theater room. Parents loved the theater room for littles to have downtime after having a blast in the Lego room or going for a swim. The kitchen was completely stocked for meal prep/serving and cold storage. We chose this house to accommodate a young adult in a wheelchair and the garage ramps and access on the main level for family activities. The management team was very responsive before and after the booking! I highly recommend this house for large group or family gatherings!

Loved the house. Very roomy and well furnished. We would certainly come again. The view was magnificent. My only complaint is that I would like to have had control of the thermostat. It was quite cold the first couple of days and the thermostat was locked on cool and the house was cold.

Such An Excellent Location!

This is one of our most favorite properties to house our writers' retreats. The property is always clean, well-maintained, and frequently breathtaking! It's perfect for large gatherings and retreats, with gorgeously appointed bedrooms and a fully-stocked kitchen. Highly recommended!

Amazing house!

The place was perfect for our huge group. Beautiful view of Bear lake. Only thing I wish would change is the house has its own hot tub, since the club house was closed. Other than that it was great!

One of our favorites

The rental can handle large groups well. For our family reunion all age groups had a lot to do and space to do it with the max number attending. It never felt crowded or too noisy. The kitchen is very well stocked. Bathrooms are well stocked with towels. Two dishwashers were so helpful. We loved having the option of going to the clubhouse.

Nice place

The manager (julie) was a joy to deal with. Whenever I called or texted she was very responsive and pleasant. The view was very nice and there was plenty of room. The "lego" room was perfect for the children. the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. This property was not in excellent condition. Several door handles were very loose. The walls were nicked and scraped with paint missing in spots. There was a hole in one of the walls. The floor in parts was in need of repair. The decorative stone work was falling off or missing outside. The equipment in the theater room had no working remotes. Pool table would have been better if the rack was there. Also only having one FOB for a large group was frustrating when you need it for the pool and the beach. Overall my family enjoyed our stay and the facility was adequate.
