Good location and easy access plus parking included for our rental car worked out really well. The large lanai was nice. Overall, not as clean as we would have expected and the bidet/toilet had a bad odour when we arrived.

The pictures do NOT look like the condo. It’s dated, paint peeling, bedroom doors broken, patio door won’t open properly and there was no spatula. Plus the the kitchen island has exposed sharp staples or small nails.

Great condo with excellent amenities and a very walkable location. It was perfect for families, with plenty of space, and they provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The washer and dryer, full kitchen, and hot-tub/pool/rec area access all added to it being a great home base.Communication with the host felt a bit impersonal since it is managed by a company rather than one person, but self check-in and check-out were easy, and we had no issues during our stay.I do want to call out the sadness that the company is named “Captain Cook.” Given the violence and harm tied to Captain Cook’s history in Hawaiʻi, It would be a great idea to consider changing the name.Overall, we would definitely stay again, Thanks!

Everything is very close by and did not need to rent a car. The host was very friendly and took care of everything we needed. The patio is very spacious but I hope one day they can add a hot tub 😉 lol but we loved it and our family had an amazing vacation. Will definitely be back!

This was my second time staying in this unit, and it was just as nice as I remembered. The first time was in April 2022 when I celebrated my 50th birthday with friends while running the Hapalua Half Marathon. When my family decided to vacation in Hawaii to celebrate our son's high school graduation, I immediately told my husband that we had to stay at the Banyan.The location is hard to beat! It includes parking, which is a huge bonus in Waikiki, and it's less than a 5-minute walk to Waikiki Beach and Kalākaua Avenue. There's also a Catholic church just 0.2 miles away. We were able to walk to the Honolulu Zoo ( 15 minute walk), and we only needed our rental car for trips to places like the Byodo-In Temple and the Dole Plantation.The full kitchen was another great feature. I was on vacation, so I didn't want to spend time cooking, but it was perfect for storing drinks, snacks, and reheating leftovers from the many great restaurants nearby. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also incredibly convenient during our 7-day stay.The pool was open but we did not use the pool. The elevators can be slow or fill up so we parked on level 5 and just had to walk up and down one flight of stairs to get to our car. The mini store & the coffee shop are so convenient.This condo is comfortable, clean, and in an ideal location for enjoying everything Waikiki has to offer. We already miss Hawaii and are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for another fantastic stay!

Byron was very helpful with our refund. I do not feel it fair to review them as the unit was clearly well taken care of but the mold in the ceiling was not noticed and when we sent pictures he helped us.

Wonderful stay in Waikiki!

I highly recommend this property. The apartment is well maintained, clean and has a humungous balcony. It is also located on the sixth floor where the pool and other recreation facilities are. It is about a block from Waikiki beach so it is a short and easy walk. Parking was always available. We had a wonderful experience there!

Our stay here was only "OK." Check-in was easy, but it's unclear why we had to call the property manager when all they did was text us the code to enter the room. Perhaps just message the codes the morning of check-in? The unit appeared just as described in the ad, but everything needed a refresh. The kitchen sink handle came off making it difficult to use, and the bathroom and shower fixtures were old and needed to be replaced. The Toto washlet was a nice touch, as was the in-unit washer and dryer. The sliding doors separating the bedroom from living area constantly came off the track and were difficult to move. The AC unit struggled our entire visit and leaked water constantly in front of the sliding glass door on the lanai - needs to be replaced. Part of the reason for the insufficient cooling was that when using the dryer, I could feel the hot air venting through the top of the dryer into the room. The curtain rod over the sliding door was basically hanging off one end and also needs to be replaced. The only sofa in the unit is old and sagging - needs to be replaced. There was also a problem with insects - ants were found not only outside on the lanai along the sliding glass door, but also inside along the sliding glass door. One day, I opened a kitchen cabinet and a roach fell on me! After informing management of this, they left some ant and roach baits; however, too little, too late - these should have already been inside the unit. Not sure I would stay here again.

Nice unit

Loved having the outdoor deck all to ourselves and the washer and dryer was a major plus!!! Beds and pull out were uncomfortable that would be my only complaint but other than that we had an amazing family vacation! Would stay here again!!! Byron was very fast at communicating!!

Rental With Great View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in thus vacation rental for 10 days and were really happy with it. It was clean, had all that we needed and it is very close to everything. We had to contact the owner over a minor detail and found him to be responsive and very helpful. We will certainly be booking this rental again in the future.

Family vacation

Location was good. A little smaller than expected. No abundance of seating. Could use a little more updating. Overall, we were satisfied.

Great family rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was overall very nice. Very conveniently located. Had everything we needed for our family. Only real concerns were a smell to the bathroom that is likely due to poor maintenance of the bidet.
