Amazing location with a beautiful view of the ocean. It's so peaceful without cars outside, you just hear noises of people and kids walking around or dining out. The apartment was very nice with 3 terraces and a kitchen.

Lovely large 2 bath, 2 story apartment. Excellent location but be prepared to walk uphill and upstairs. 2 verandas give you terrible views!The bed could be firmer but also a personal preference for us. The host was the most helpful of any Vrbo we’ve ever rented! Perfect check-in instructions for an old historic village which can be confusing sometimes. Fully stocked kitchen.

Excellent apartment with balconies and a great view over Riomaggiore. On third floor so plenty of stairs but worth it for the view. Host was very helpful throughout our stay. Great location to visit all the Cinque Terre and Lucca.

Very nice apartment high enough to have wonderful views. The apartment is very comfortable and well stocked. Clean! The communication with the hosts was always prompt and pleasant. We really enjoyed hanging out on the terrace and taking the views.

Excellent communication with host who took extra care of us with recommendations and information to make our stay easier. The room was exactly as pictured and with two small veranda’s to sit and enjoy. We loved our stay and will be back!

Air conditioner doesn't work

Host was helpful and shared information before arriving (including pictures and videos). We were extremely disappointed that the listing didn't match what was there. The apmt had 2 plug in fans, and one wall air conditioner. Only one of the fans produced COLD air (but didn't cool the room). The second fan didn't work. The wall air conditioner, you only felt cool (not cold) air if you held your hand to the unit. We were hot and sweaty, and didn't get any "A/C relief" during our stay in July. When we woke up in the morning, outside was cooler than inside. We opened the windows one night, but there was no wind, so the apmt was still hot, hot, hot. The host tried to fix the fans and air conditioner, but was unsuccessful.

The property was super cute. We were there for 4 nights. Everything was clean and all you needed. The host was great in communicating with us every moment we had a question. You are in the heart of the main street in Riomaggiore, you wake up to beautiful views in the balcony and get to say hi to neighbors while you hang your clothes! Amazing experience for family of 4. My daughter loved the beach and I loved walking for a latte in the morning.

Amazing location and views

We love staying in this apartment! The views were incredible. The location to all of the central places you would want to visit was also great. You did have to climb a lot of stairs, but luckily we could handle it. Because you climbed the stairs, you were rewarded with incredible views!

Delightful apartment in all regards.

We really loved everything about our stay in this cozy apartment, including our interactions with its host, Maurizio. Furnishings, including the bed, are comfortable, and decor is tasteful and appropriate to the location. The kitchen and bathrooms are well supplied whether you’re staying 3 nights or 3 weeks (well, you might have to buy some toilet paper if you’re staying 3 weeks). Even the 3 flights of uneven stairs add character and charm to the place. And Maurizio bent over backwards in providing timely and clear instructions to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out. We couldn’t have asked for more. I’d also add that, in our opinion, we couldn’t have chosen a better town than Riomaggiore for our stay in Cinque Terre. If I have anything negative to say, it would be that we weren’t smart enough to pack lighter than we did. But we are both 70 years old and still did fine.

Lovely view

We enjoyed our stay in Riomaggiore! Such a quaint town! The check in instructions were very thorough. We loved sitting on the two balconies and watching the sunset! Lots of stairs to work off all the gelato! Go see the castle with amazing views!

Central location with terrace and view of sea

Very good stay, enjoyed the terraces with seating and views of the sea. Beds comfortable, nice bathroom and shower. Cooking in the kitchen was important to us, but the upstairs where the kitchen and 1 bathroom was was completely un-useable as it was boiling hot before even turning the stove on - no flow through breeze from outside, no air conditioner, and a sad fan that barely worked. Listing should note it's a steep walk from the train/ferry and then another 4 flights of narrow stairs to the property - if my parents were traveling with us this time they would absolutely not have been able to make the trek.

Just right for us!

Great location, beautiful views from the three balconies. Clean, good AC, comfy bed. The washing was hard to figure out but the clothes came out clean. Will say that this is a bad place for someone with bad knees- the stairs are very steep. But that’s a little true of all of Cinque Terre. They had lots of prints of the best modern artists in the place which was fun.

Beautiful place

It’s a very beautiful place with amazing view from the balcony. The town is centrally located. The manager gives detail check-in instructions. The place is 10 min walk ( uphill) from the train station. There are very good restaurants and stores very close to the place. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish to come back again. Thanks to the property manager for clear communication

Nice vacation in Riomaggiore

We spent 3 wonderful days in Riomaggiore, one of the beautiful village in Cinque Terre. Apartment is very nice and the location in the village is perfect. Communication with Maurizio (the host) is very easy and he gave us lot of clear instructions and recommendations. The view from the terrace is wonderful and we spent all our dinners there. It was so nice and relaxing! The main inconvenient was the fact the apartment is very warm. Probably the Air Conditioning is not powerful enough for hot summer weather. During our stay mid of August, it was even not possible to stay in the Kitchen located in the first floor of the apartment, it was too hot. Ideas of improvement: Make the air conditioning more powerful. Also it would be good to unfreeze the fridge. Except those small issues, we spent 3 lovely days here and I would recommend this nice apartment.
