Wonderful apartment in Versailles

Our stay at Brigitte and Christian’s was lovely. Their daughter Julie met us when we checked in and showed us around the apartment as well as gave us a few suggestions for the neighborhood. The apartment was well-appointed and very quiet, especially considering its proximity to local restaurants and shops. We we very grateful to have such a nice home base from which to explore Versailles and Paris.

Fantastic location for the Versailles Palace. You can even see the Saturday evening fireworks from the bedroom window! With the high speed train connections to Paris it is also perfect for exploring Paris. Especially if you come by car and don’t want to drive in. There is underground parking as well! The appointment itself is beautiful and the perfect place to relax between outings. The owners were fabulous and even though we don’t speak French, we had no problems at all. Thoroughly recommended!

Fantastic apartment in a superb location

This apartment is clean and simple, and located in a great neighborhood. We stayed three weeks and enjoyed every minutes of it. Just steps to the outdoor market and central shopping area and a short walk to the palace and gardens. A wonderful place to enjoy Versailles!.

Perfect location

The property has all the conveniences and was well presented and clean. The owners greeted us on arrival and explained the amenities in the apartment. They also gave recommendations for dining. The location is close to great markets, cafes and is in walking distance to Versailles Chateau. We had a great time and would recommend this accommodation.

Ideal location in the heart of Versailles

Brigitte and Christian's property is clean, airy and modern with enough space for a couple to have a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-appointed in case you want to cook or simply serve food from the myriad exceptional caterers in the neighborhood. The Marche Notre-Dame five minutes down the street, is a food Mecca, featuring countless cheese counters, butcher shops, wine stores, chocolate makers and even an outstanding ice cream and sorbet maker (San Luis) whose creations will make you weep. Your palate will think it died and went to Heaven. And this is all within walking range even if you can barely walk. Another five minutes and you're at the Castle. If you're a music lover, check out the concerts at the recently renovated Chapelle Royale, whose gold leaf roof now glitters in the sun, or the operas put on by the Opera Royal. This property is a gem all around, it will make you wonder why you ever bothered to go into Paris when you can have it all in a few acres of genteel urban living. I'd like to mention the extraordinary pastry store and bakery around the corner: the Chant du Coq, which is run by ... a very inspired Japanese family, and offers fare that will blow your mind and delight your mouth. Enter that place at your own peril. I know I gained a few pounds in just one week because I couldn't resist their amazing creations.

Appartement et environnement au top

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Brigitte et Christian. L appartement est tres agréable, décoration de tres bon goût avec des meubles de belle qualité. L appartement est très propre, il ne manque rien. Dans une rue très calme à 2 pas de la rue de la Paroisse et du marché. Je le recommande vivement d ailleurs j y retournerai bien volontiers.

Très bel appartement

Moi et mon copain avons séjourné dans l'appartement de Christian pendant 15 jours, bel appartement, très propre, bien équipé, proche de la gare Rive droite à 5 minutes à pied. Les mardis, vendredis et dimanches, il y a un marché à proximité où nous pouvons acheter des fruits et légumes frais. Propriétaire attentionné et gentil. Je recommande cet appartement. Merci Christian pour votre accueil.

Perfect accommodations for travelers. The apartment was spotless, well appointed, secure, and only minutes away from restaurants and shops. Plus just a ten minute walk from the palace. A very enjoyable stay.

Perfekte und feine Ferienwohung für 2 Personen

Lange gesucht und genau das richtige Domiziel zur Erkundung von Schloß, Garten und Park von Versailles gefunden. Die Wohung ist mit Allem und vor allem mit viel Liebe zu Detail ausgestattet. Bahnhof nach Paris, Schloß und Garten sind zu Fuß in 10 Min. zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kleine Restaurants und Cafes sind im Umkreis ausreichend vorhanden.
