PLEASE CLEAN AND UPDATE HOME

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THE HOUSE WAS SPACIOUS BUTTHE HOUSE WASNT CLEAN ENOUGH FOR ME. THE FLOORS WAS DIRTY THE CARPET IS DIRTY THE FURNITURE NEED TO BE REPLACE IN THE LIVING AREAD ALONG WITH THE PILLOWS. THE FIRST ROOM WHEN YOU COME IN THE DOOR THE CARPET IS COMMIMG UP RIGHT WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE ROOM BECAUSE MY DAUGTHER ALMOST TRIP. I REPORTED IT BUT THEY NEVER SENT ANYONE TO FIX IT OR CHECK IT SO MY DAUGTER HAD TO PUT THE RUG THAT WAS IN THE ENTRY WAY OVER THAT AREA. THE SCREEN IN PATIO WAS NOT SWEPT MY HUSBAND HAD TO SWEEP IT AND I CLEAN ON THE TABLE. NO BEACH EQUIPMENT THERE FOR US TO USE EVEN THOUGH THEY PUT IT ON THE WEB SITE I CALLED BUT COULDN'T FIND THE KEY TO THE LOCK STORAGE BOX WHERE THEY SAID THAT WAS WHERE THE BEACH ITEM WERE. I WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE A KEY AND SEND IT OVER BUT IT WAS TO LATE. THE KITCHEN DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH SKILLETS OR POTS. I HAD TO CLEAN THE KITCHEN UP BEFORE I COULD USE THE COUNTERTOPS WERE NOT CLEAN. ONE ROLL OF PAPER TOWELS NO EXTRA NO DISHWASHING LIQUOR NO MOP ON A SWIFER WITH ONE PAD ON IT. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT BECAUSE WE LOVE STAYING ON THE TIVOLI SIDE. GOLFCART WASNICE TO HAVE. SPACIOUS DINING ROOM AREA. IM OCD I HAD TO BUY CLEANING PRODUCTS AND RECLEAN THE WHOLE HOUSE INCLUDING THE BATHROOMS BEFORE WE SETTLE IN.

Sandestin Tivoli

This property was even better than the description. It was very spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the golf cart. We rarely drove our car, we just drove the golf cart to the beach parking nearby and to dinner. The grounds are beautiful and the pool a short walk away was a good size. It was in the 90s all week and the unit stayed very cool and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Girls Trip 2023...wonderful trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our annual girls trip we chose San Destin/Miramar Beach, FL. No husbands, children/grandchildren; just aunts and cousins age 50+ each! I have personally been to several meetings in area and stayed with Vacation Haven several times and I wanted my “girls” to experience the location and vibes. Condo was perfect for our group and very nicely kept up; with the only exception being that the screened in porch needed pressure washed. Very moldy and musty. We would have loved to have spent time out there, but several of us with allergies and asthma, not able to utilize at all. The golf cart was an added asset that we only drove to the beach once during our entire stay...weather didn’t cooperate for being at the beach too much. We will return...thank you again for great accommodations!

Summer vacation

We travel to Destin every year. This year we tried Miramar and we enjoyed it just as much. The home was spacious, beautiful and very clean. Everyone slept very comfortably. Next time we will stay longer in order to utilize all of the amenities.

This home was more than perfect for our last minute family vacation. The golf cart came in handy to and from the beach. Everything was clean and well organized. The neighborhood was very peaceful! We will absolutely be booking again!

Ok stay. Have had better experiences at Previous stays

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd stay at Sandestin. We love the area overall. We'd had 2 really good experiences. This one was not as good. The layout of the place was great and we had plenty of room for 8-10 people. Upon arrival it was not very clean. Floors were very sandy. Dishes were very dirty and had to be recleaned. We found a dirty diaper in a closet. Other issues were finding the keys to the golf cart which was not in the house, but hidden on the battery of the cart for some reason. Also the charger for the cart was messed up and had to be repaired before we could charge it. We had trouble figuring out the small bedroom shower, but with some help got it going. The resort folks were great and responded quickly to our needs, but some of these things could have been taken care of before we arrived. Furniture quality was low.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful Condo, very roomy and clean. However, the reason we choose this unit is that it came with a Golfcart. I received a call about 29 minutes before we checked in only to be told that it was taken out of service, but hopefully it would be returned before our stay was complete. The Golfcart SAT IN ONE SPOT for the entire time we were there. Never repaired. I was told that "the Golfcart was just an extra amenity, sort of like a Coffee Maker would be." I reminded the young lady that we made our decision based on the Golfcart because it would be easier to get around with our Grandchildren. Who by the way were Very disappointed. I was told that we would receive a small refund if the Golfcart was not repaired. THAT NEVER HAPPENED EITHER! No refund of any amount.

Room for improvement.

There is definitely room for Improvement. The neighbors kept taking the charger from our golf cart therefore when we wanted to use the golf cart it was completely dead. We also encountered cockroaches around the house. The wifi went out the second day of our stay and did not come back so it made working from home impossible. The dryer was not functioning quite well either. It would take 3 hours to fully dry a regular load. Broken parts to the bathroom in the biggest bathroom. I believe these are things that can be fixed and make the experience a lot better.

Great property, very clean, great location

We loved our brief 3 night stay. The 2 main bedrooms are very roomy and the 3rd room with 4 bunk beds really makes it easy to have a bigger group.

Great location, issues addressed timely.

Great location, easy access to the beach and the wharf, issues with the dryer were addressed very timely. Only other issue was with the golf cart which was checked off before check in but tires were very worn and a front tire blew out on our 2nd night. Took 24hrs to get replaced.

Stay

The only complaint I have is that the roof was being changed. It was very hard for my grandchildren ( ages 18 months and 5 years old) to take a nap. When walking out the door you had to watch for falling objects. There was debris on the ground which made it very hard to go outside.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time! The best part for us were the heated pools, as we came during the off season, and the golf cart. How nice it was to zoom right to the beach! The condo was a great setup for our family.

Overall Great Experience

We had a great time during our daughter's fall break. The property was as described. Very nice place and really spacious. We only had minor issues that did not ruin the trip at all. The communication leading up to the trip was awesome. We had no issues getting responses to questions. However, we tried to contact the property manager about some general property questions and also about some cleaning issues. We never got a response back. It was fine. We brought our own cleaning supplies and made it work. In the end, it is a lovely place with an awesome, very useful golf cart that we would rent again.

Will definitely stay here again !

This home is beautiful and it was a lot of fun ! The only thing we didn’t like was that there was a lot of roaches :( I think they come from outdoor. I really loved everything about this property the roach problem is the only thing that I personally feel that can be fixed. I love the fact that they provide a golf car it was a lot of fun. This property is not far from the beach and there’s a wonderful local pool !!!

Great stay

Fun place to stay and play. Beach was a bit crowded but the rental worked great for our 4 kids and us. Right on the golf course overlook. Clean and comfortable.

Work and Family Getaway

This was a perfect property and location for my work conference and family getaway. My sister, mom and I stayed with our kids. The bunk room was the right size and number for the preteen/teen girls with us. The 3 bath/3 bedroom was excellent for separation for our larger group. We really enjoyed having the golf cart for beach access and exploring the community.

Very Spacious

Spacious for family! Love the open kitchen to the living room. Everyone can eat together with the large dining table. Golf cart was handy for easy fun trips to the beach. Only thing is, didn’t realize there would be a unit above us so be ready to hear foot traffic.

Wonderful property!

We absolutely loved out stay and look forward to staying again. The golf cart was a lifesaver, literally. Our dryer was broke that was our only problem. We didnt realize it until our last day of our stay. They offered to come look at it, but since it was our last day we just told them to wait until we checked out. We would definitely stay again though.

Loved the condo! Spacious nice location well furnished. No toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags for our first night. However when I called till request these the response time was awesome. Would have liked to have a broom and dust pan available as there was a lot of sand that got tracked in from our days at the beach. Overall a very positive experience :)

Perfect for our family

This unit was perfect for our family. It is close to a secluded space. It had just enough space for our kids. And, the gold cart made it so easy to get to the beach and restaurants.
