The property manager was made aware of a safety issue but neglected to address it. The knob came off of the inside of the bathroom door when we arrived. I informed the cleaning supervisor (who was there bc the beds were unmade when we arrived) and she informed the property manager. I assumed someone would come repair it. No one did, or even contact me.My 8yr old young daughter got locked in the bathroom in the middle of the night. She had to scream for someone else to wake up to open the door from the outside. It was really frightening for her - in the middle of the night, an unfamiliar house, and not to be able to get out. This is a legitimate safety concern. One TV was not functional. I also was charged in advance for a pet fee, but my dog ended up not coming to the property at all. Again, they refused to acknowledge any of this. Instead, she replied that the house needed additional cleaning. This is clearly an attempt to cover for the safety issue she ignored. We spent VERY little time at the house. I cleaned every dish, took out trash, the living rooms were virtually untouched. There was some sand in the bathroom - that would have been the biggest cleaning issue - but it's a beach house. The cleaning claims are blatant fabrications, which is so completely unethical and deceptive, I can't really even believe it. I was understanding about the bedding issue, but to try to turn the tables when there was an ignored safety issue... beware of these practices.
