A perfect romantic getaway or relaxing family place, this 3BD/2BA house has stunning ocean and sunset views from almost all rooms. It is a 7-min walk to the beach, which eliminates the hassle of public parking. After a day of fun in the sun and sand, the wood-burning fireplace sets the perfect ambience for a glass of champagne or s'mores with the fam. The comfy beds, full kitchen, full laundry, private parking, protected deck, and fenced courtyard invite you to relax and stay a while!

Beautiful and comfortable home with incredible views.

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful and comfortable home with incredible views of the ocean, flora and fauna. There is a lot of open space and the walk to Portuguese Beach is relatively short. From the house, it is fun to go into the town of Bodega Bay, but it is always relaxing to get back to the house and enjoy the surrounding area. There are many nice beaches explore nearby in addition to Portuguese Beach.

We had the best accommodations and a perfect ocean view.

The house is lovely, appliances good quality, and very well stocked with just about everything you could possibly need. We loved the sunny back deck with an awesome view of the ocean. Had visits from a beautiful Bobcat several does and fawns. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet but residents very friendly. We enjoyed our short stay immensely. Definitely a do over!

Welcome to Hansen's Bodega Bay Getaway! My parents, Jack and Laura Hansen, a junior high school counselor and homemaker who lived in Napa for over 50 years, designed and built this home in 1972 as a legacy for their children and grandchildren. In offering this home to you at a relatively low cost for the area, we hope to honor their vision of hospitality and treasured family time while supporting the upkeep and maintenance of the house. Please don't hesitate to e-mail or call with questions, recommendations, or things we need to re-stock, as it takes a village to care for a legacy and you are now a part of ours!
