This is a great unit for families traveling with kids. The unit is on the ground floor right next to the pool and so it provides easy access to the outdoors all day long, which is a game changer when you have kids. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable, also great having three bathrooms and three bedrooms, everyone had their own space. Kitchen was well stocked, but as others noted some of the drawers were broken but once that was figured out we didn't try to open them again. The Maui Sunset is a great condo complex, even though its "older" the grounds are impeccably maintained and the everything is clean. The access to the beach was great for the kids and it was also easy to walk up and down. This place is called Maui Sunset for a reason, and let me tell you we never missed one! Would definitely recommend for families.

Beautiful condo! We enjoyed our stay. Short walk to the beach and saw turtles on our walks. Kitchen is equipped with pans, plates, bowls, casserole dishes. It’s clean and well kept. 5 of us stayed for 7 nights. We had to do laundry to keep up with towels. They do have beach chairs but 2 of the 5 were broken. Not the owners fault. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the property. If you book this prepare to fall in love with the place.

Great location for family

The condo was big enough to accommodate our family of 9, with easy access to the beach and pool for the younger kids. Kitchen was well stocked for all of our needs.

Good location, excellent distance to beach

Good spot overall, the kitchen items were a little dated, and need upkeep on the knives All in all I would stay again, makes up for it with the location to beach.

Perfect Maui trip with large group

A fabulous trip in the best unit in the whole complex in my opinion if you stay at my Sunset, you’ve got to get on the ground floor. We had the best time I’d say the unit was a little less clean than I had expected but other than that, everything was great we absolutely loved our trip.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay, never a dull moment, this was a corner condo ground floor, beautiful grounds and a minute walk to the ocean. Beautiful sunset every night and it’s always a plus with comfy beds.

Family stay in central Maui

This was the ideal place for our family for 7 nights. Ground floor was so nice to walk directly into the grass just steps away from the coast where people gather to watch the sunset every night. The condo itself is family friendly with a well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, grills and a pool. This was our first time on Maui and we’d definitely stay here again.

Great experience!

Our family of 7 (ages 18-80) enjoyed 9 days in this lovely condo. The location of this corner unit is perfect. It’s a 30 second walk to the ocean or the pool. It’s located within the Maui Sunset resort. There were many free activities (beach chairs, tennis, shuffle board, putting green) and items available to rent (paddle boards, canoes). Overall a great experience!

Great location.

We were two families (4 adults and 5 kiddos). Place was spacious enough for all of us. Being in the ground floor was a big plus. Kitchen had all we needed. Would stay again.

Walk out to Paradise

This is the perfect place to relax and walk out the door directly into a beautiful sunset on the beach. The central location on Maui is ideal for exploring every edge of the island.

Great vacation

Large property on corner unit. Plenty of room and lots of kitchen items that made it feel like home. Beds were comfortable. Beach accessories were great! We enjoyed our week in paradise!

Amazing location and condo for a family vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners were very responsive and made coordination of our stay very easy. The condo was very clean and all amenities were easily accessible. The location on the ground floor made for a very pleasurable stay for our multi-generational family. We loved how close the beach and resort amenities (pool, tennis courts etc) and the beach were. We will absolutely be returning for our next Maui vacation!

I love everything about this place, everything is close the pool, tennis courts and of course the beach, you can wake up early and walk to the beach and see the sunrise or the sunset and if you go early you will get to see the turtles.

Great condo for a family vacation!

We loved our stay in this condo. Such a great location with a huge kitchen and lovely ground level patio. The hot water tank alarm went off during our stay and owners promptly got help. Kitchen was quite well stocked for cooking - only missing a large frying pan.

Family getaway

This was the perfect place for my family of seven. The unit was so spacious and had everything we needed. The pool and grounds were immaculate. The unit is at the end so very quiet with beautiful sunsets every night. The location was great too. Centrally located to all so nothing was too far of a drive. Highly recommend!!

Great Family Space

We have stayed in many units at Maui Sunset and this is by far our favorite. It is nicely remodeled with an open kitchen and plenty of seating. The rooms are laid out nicely with space for couples and kiddos. It is an end unit away from the public park adding to privacy and quiet. Booking, check in and check out were easy. We look forward to returning.

The condo was large and as described. The location was very perfect with lovely grounds and pool. However, the condo could use some major maintenance. It is run down in a lot of ways- the shower curtain rod fell down multiple times, the sinks were all plugged, no plug for the tub (which was annoying with 3 small kids who needed baths), screens with many holes/rips, curtains
