Doug and Starla Sage live in Edmonds Wa. For a time, in our early twenties, we lived on Maui and fell in love with the place. Doug owned a construction consulting firm in Seattle and Starla is retired due to a successful double lung transplant in 2011. We love to travel and spend time in San Luis Obispo, CA, La Conner and the San Juan Islands, WA, as well as Sugar Beach, of course! I volunteer at the UW Lung Transplant Center helping others cope with transplant issues. I also volunteer at my local food bank, and when on Maui, at a homeless soup kitchen, Hale Kau Kau. It is great to get to know the locals through my volunteering. Life is Good and we are very thankful!
