We love Ouray and this is the perfect place to stay. The hosts are great and you must eat at their restaurant, The Brick House!Their home is clean and well maintained. It's within walking distance to everything around Ouray. We look forward to coming back soon. Seeing wildlife in the front yard is always a big plus!!

Great stay in Ouray!

This is our third time to stay at this house. It is the perfect location in town. Walkable distance to everything. House is super comfortable and very well supplied. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

Family hiking trip

Wonderful time in Ouray. House was very comfortable and very well stocked. Close to the main street of Ouray. Easy to walk to restaurants and small grocery store. Would stay here again!

Great Ouray Vacay!

This home is a lovely layout for friends or family staying together and had plenty of space to spread out, as well as privacy. The host was fantastic (be sure to check out their restaurant in town - best food we had!) and the location is top notch. We easily walked to town, on the trails and to hot springs all without getting in our car.

This property was more than advertised. Very roomy, we’ll stocked, very clean and has a great view from the deck. Easy walk to downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

Best house in ouray yet

We have bern ouray for 6 years and always rent a VBRO, this one is the best one yet. Its clean, roomy, comfortable and a great location. The back porch was a perfect place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Allow us to introduce ourselves... Our names are Hans and Ingrid Vanderploeg. We were the previous owners of the China Clipper Inn, a bed and breakfast. Number 1 on Tripadvisor for many years, the China Clipper Inn has been known for its outstanding service, cleanliness and breakfast. After running the B&B for 10 years, we sold the China Clipper Inn so we could both pursue different careers. In 2016, Hans partnered with Chef Cory Sargent and started Kitchen/Bar Brickhouse 737 on Main Street in Ouray, currently number 1 on Tripadvisor. Ingrid is the property manager of this rental and manages websites, and social media accounts and is an SEO expert.

We have lived in Ouray for over 10 years and love all the outdoor activities that Ouray has to offer year-round. Both hospitality professionals, we will provide you with excellent service and immaculate rental property. We hope you enjoy your stay in our cosy rental.

This property is in the middle of town and has a deck with amazing views and a substantial yard where kids can run around. You can park your car and start all your mountain adventures here. Everything in town is within walking distance. The bones of the building are dated around 1891. Many changes and add-ons have occurred since then, but the home still retains that old-timey feel that people come looking for in Ouray.
