Thank you for choosing RealJoy and for staying at Edgewater Tower 2-408. We apologize the listing indicated a king bed when the bedroom has a queen and that a guest had to sleep on the sofa. That’s not the experience we want for our guests. We’ve updated the listing to accurately reflect the bed size and will review the description and photos to prevent future misunderstandings. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again.

We had to leave early due to bed bugs, real joy acted like we were an inconvenience after they sent exterminators out who told us bugs have been there a month. We had to leave last minute and was stranded 8 hours from home.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this situation caused during your stay. Guest comfort and safety are always our top priorities, and once this concern was brought to our attention, we acted quickly by coordinating professional pest control services and having the unit fully treated. We do want to clarify that there had been no prior reports of bed bugs at the property, and no signs were identified during previous routine inspections or cleans. Had any concerns been discovered earlier, they would have been addressed immediately. After this was reported, we see that you ultimately chose to extend your stay by an additional night, and we provided a full refund for your reservation as a gesture of goodwill and to ensure you were taken care of. We understand how disruptive unexpected issues can be while traveling, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and share the steps taken to support our guests. Thank you, RealJoy Vacations

It was a very nice property. We had to fix a few minor things. Like door jam Everything was clean just a little smaller than we had hoped for having six people. I would say this property would be best for four or less.

Good location- condo as described

Condo was nice, was described. WiFi doesn’t work good at all though. Cable is pretty spotty too but we were there for the beach anyway. Anyone staying there will need to bring TP, PT, bar soap, hand soap and dish detergent. Overall was a good stay. Wouldn’t necessarily go back to Panama City though- not as nice as other gulf coast cities.

Christa, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with some feedback regarding your overall good vacation rental experience while staying in Edgewater 2-408, a nice beachfront two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort. We apologize for the wireless Internet not working well. Sometimes when several units are using the same provider, the speed of the Internet is slower than expected. Housekeeping normally provides only a certain amount of such items as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, and linens. Guests must provide any other items needed during their stay. Thank you for choosing Real Joy.

We will forward your comments regarding the mattress to property managers so that they may review and assess the need to replace it. It would be the decision of the resort to replace the lighting at the front door. Thank you for choosing Real Joy.

Great location

Overall this property was great! Just a few minor things. A few lights bulbs were out in one of the baths which made the shower very dark. The master bedroom is considered the room with the two beds. We didn’t realize that. The coffee pot was broke. I was told they’d bring a new one but we never received one. In some condos there’s been leftover salt, pepper, seasonings. This one had nothing. Washer & dryer worked great! Double sliding doors on the balcony was so nice! Games & cards were in the room and we enjoyed those the day a storm came through. Overall would definitely recommend!!

Nice location and stuff to do BUT you should know

The property is in building 3 which is closest to the beach. Unit is good layout and space is good for 2 adults and 2 kids The property is in need of some repairs and general clean up. Overall property is clean but run down. It is nice location and good beachfront but unit itself needs some attention. Some examples: both shower doors are not properly attached and can fall off easily (one did) I put it back in track but rails are loose and will certainly fall again. Both showers need updated Screendoor and sliding door need work done - very hard to keep on tracks and open and close. Kitchen is ok but very small. Worked fine for the 2 of us but if there were more people it would be difficult. Ice maker never worked but no big deal because we purchase ice anyway. The most challenging thing was the tents on the beach. The resort allows people to set up beachfront tents - there were no less than 40-50 tents - if you didn't have a tent you really struggled to find beach to put your chairs down. we had 2 small children so it was tough as they would run into tent pegs and strings all day trying to get to the water. Check out the pics on the resort website - you can see the beach with all the tents. We love the beach and will continue to go every year twice. Doubt we will stay with this resort again no due to the unit but the beach crowding. This is not the unit owner's issue but it was difficult and we are pretty laid back people. Like is said we will continue to go to PCB we love it - we just will stay in a more quiet rental. If you like lots of people and activity - this is your resort

We would like to apologize for the inconveniences you experienced here. We did some checking and couldn’t find where you had contacted us regarding any issues during your stay. We will forward your unit concerns to our Ops team to assess. Again, thank you for your feedback.

We overall enjoyed our week at the beach and the condo. It was a bit smaller than expected and the true master bedroom is the one with the two double beds which was not properly listed on the booking site. The mattress in what was listed as the “master” was absolutely terrible and needs to be replaced. The Keurig coffee maker didn’t work properly. It was relatively clean and served the purpose we needed for the week but could for sure use some upgrades for the price we paid.

Tammy, please accept our apology for the construction, sliding glass door, and the kitchen not being stocked better in this two-bed/two-bath beachfront condo in Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort. As mentioned on Vrbo and Real Joy websites, "*there is construction currently taking place at the Edgewater Resort.*" We unfortunately have no control over such an issue at any resort similar to Edgewater. We appreciate you making us aware of the need for more kitchen supplies and the sliding glass door not functioning properly. We will have these issues resolved. Thank you for choosing Real Joy.

Hi Hal, we're sorry to hear about your experience. According to our records, you called us about the door late on Sunday afternoon 6/14 (the day after your check in) and we sent a tech to the condo to install a new strike plate on the front door the next morning. We wish you'd let us know you were unhappy about other items so we could have corrected them for you. This isn't our typical guest experience and we can do better. Again, we are sorry to hear about this & thank you for your feedback.
