Labor Day Weekend

Awesome stay at Pirates Cove! Perfect location, central to many fun activities, and the facilities couldn’t have been better. The accommodation were beautiful and we will definitely be returning!

Perfect first trip to OBX. The property was beautiful and the location was perfect!

My family had a wonderful time renting at Pirate’s Cove. The house was spacious and clean. The views from the decks were amazing and we loved walking the property at sunset. Perfect location for a family vacation!

Perfect getaway

This house is our new favorite rental property. The house is very well stocked and nicely furnished, and you really feel at home here. One of the features we loved is that each bedroom has its own en-suite. We’ve stayed in many rental properties throughout the years, and in our opinion we haven’t come across anything that has been as nicely furnished and comfortable as this one. We are already planning our next visit! Thanks so much for a perfect stay.

Best trip ever!

We visit the obx every summer for the past 20 years and this was one of the best summer trips! We will forever have this memory and experience. The home is lovely, spacious and clean. The location is perfection. Nestled in a serene part of pirates cove which is wonderfully located right before you cross over the bridge on the water. You have the best of everything.. not in the thick of the hustle and bustle of the banks and summertime tourists but close enough to be if you want to. Also very close to downtown Manteo, Wanchese, and driving our jeeps out on the beach in Nags Head, it was a dream location for us. Pirates cove has all the wonderful things that you want for family as well, beautiful 3 mile boardwalk with natural wildlife and peaceful serenity as well as a pool, clubhouse, gym, and tennis courts all of which were wonderful. The clubhouse had activities all week as well. We will most definitely be back!!

Beautiful Vacation Home with a Few Minor Drawbacks

I recently stayed at this beautiful vacation home that offered a truly memorable experience. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, providing breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. The outdoor space was equally impressive, featuring a 2 cozy decks/patio (one screened and one without), and a wonderful front deck area all perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. However, there were a couple of minor issues that detracted from an otherwise perfect stay: dog hair and nearby construction. Despite the home being generally clean and well-maintained, there was noticeable dog hair on some of the furniture and rugs. For guests with allergies or sensitivities, this could be a bit problematic. Additionally, there was new construction going on next door, which occasionally caused some noise every morning at 7...omg. While it didn't completely ruin our stay, it was a bit of an inconvenience when we were trying to relax. Overall, I highly recommend this vacation home for its beauty, comfort, and excellent location. With a little more attention to cleaning up pet hair and being mindful of the construction schedule, it would be absolutely perfect.

House is beautiful, views at night are spectacular, decorated beautifully...only problem...ants around kitchen sink....other than that I would rent it again! :-)

Great stay but beware of ANTS!!

We had a wonderful stay except the ants in the kitchen tried to overtake us. They remained all over the counter throughout our stay, inside cabinets, on the kitchen walls. We did not keep food out anywhere except the island which seemed to be the only safe zone besides the refrigerator.

Fishing trip

The location was a perfect base for our fishing trip. The boat we chartered was at the marina at Pirates Cove - it was much better than a hotel because we could all be together when not fishing. The view was great and the house was all that was advertised.

Home away from home

Very nice house. My family enjoyed our stay there. The elevator worked good for me. It was quiet at the cove and I felt very safe. The neighborhood and location is beautiful.

Updated spacious family home

pirates cove was a delight to work with they answered all of my questions on time they worked with me through all of the covet stuff and when they were super easy for check in and check out. The house was beautiful updated had everything that I needed We really enjoyed it so much that we want to come back again next year.
