We were very comfortable at this sweet refurbished cabin built in 1920. The host has thought of everything and it is decorated so adorably. The grounds are lovely and the various options for outside seating and relaxing were much appreciated. The HVAC worked perfectly and we needed both a bit of ac and a bit of heat during our fall stay. The electric fireplace took the chill off, too. The beds were very comfortable and there are many options for lighting needs in each room. There was plenty of hot water and we were glad to use the washer and dryer once to freshen up before resuming our travels. Thank you, Rebekah!

We had a wonderful time relaxing at the cottage. It had everything we needed and more! Probably one of the best we've ever stayed at as far as supplies and amenities. The driveway is pretty rough, but otherwise the property was perfect for our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

The location was great for our stay and visit to Chattanooga. The house was the perfect size and provided everything we needed for our stay. It was cozy and very clean. Rebekah the host was very helpful in providing everything for checking in and responding to messages. Would deginitely stay here agsin if visiting the area.

Very nice, highly recommend!! The house was cozy, we enjoyed BBQ outside, sat on the front porch in the mornings, seen deer & wild turkeys. The whole experience was awesome

Annual fishing trip with family.

Overall great little place to stay. Had a little difficulty trying to maneuver boats to park. House is situated on a little hill and blind curve making exiting property a little worrisome. Still had a great time, amenities were great, memories were made

Fantastic place to stay for a weekend getaway

We came for our Nieces wedding and to do some site seeing over a long weekend. The place was perfect for us. The place was clean with all the amenities we needed. Lots of things to entertain ourselves between wedding events and our sight seeing activities, darts, corn hole and Roku TV. Messaged the host via the app and they were prompt and helpful with their replies. Would stay here again if we come back to Chattanooga.

Comfortable Cozy Cottage

This place was perfect for us during our stay. The listing is accurate. This is a very nice updated property. It is stocked well. The beds are comfortable. We saw quite a bit of wildlife from the windows. We definitely would come back to this property if back in the area.

Just Great

The home, location and surroundings are wonderful. The level of cleanliness of the home and furnishings were above reproach. The place was fully stocked, clean and ready for effortless move in and stay. I really enjoyed this place and wish it had been available for a longer duration.

House was great. Poor communication. Poor parking

Did not receive any arrival instruction. Arrived and did not have a code to get in the house. Called property owner and left a message. I finally spent several hours trying to guess the combination for the key box and luckily guessed it. I received a text the next day with arrival instructions. If you have a boat it is a nightmare to follow their directions to turn around and due to the rain my truck and boat got stuck. The house was clean and very well furnished. I give the house a 10/10

Perfect little place for a get away

When we walked in everything was as pictures online. The host was very quick with answering questions that I had. Everything was clean, stocked with everything you could need. AC works perfect as do the washer/dryer and dishwasher. We had a great time there and loved the outdoor games. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Would rent this adorable cottage again!!! The only thing I would say is that it is very dangerous getting out of the driveway with the bushes that are there, people tend to go fast down that road, but other than that it was absolutely perfect for our family vacation!!!

Darling cottage

This owner thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Nicely decorated and Clean property, multiple games/books inside and outside. Back patio setting very fun with many games and a nice patio + screened in porch. Front porch was perfect for coffee each morning. Thanks for sharing your darling cottage!!

Great house

Perfect place for my sister and I to have a week long getaway. Easy drive to Chattanooga, and all the conveniences in Soddy-Daisy. Quiet and relaxing.

New Owners! Kevin and Rebekah Ramquist live in Nashville, TN. Rebekah grew up in Chattanooga and has family who live on the Lake nearby. As a real estate agent it's always been a dream of Rebekah's to own a second home so she and Kevin are thrilled to be able to purchase something closer to family and assume the role of owners and managers of this wonderful little home in Soddy Daisy.
Kevin also has family in East TN and together, he and Rebekah are parents to 3 rescued Weimaraners, 2 adult children and grandparents to one handsome little 2 year old. Kevin is a chef and owns a private catering business, he LOVES to fish in his time off!

Former owners, Dick and Darlene have done a beautiful job of running this house as a short term rental. Kevin and Rebekah love to travel and always use home owner's short term rentals. They fell in love with the charm of this sweet old home, it's amazing location close to the lake and with easy access to downtown and family. "We are so excited to put our personal touches on things while keeping the ease and comfort of home for all who stay here. We are eager to maintain consistent happy reviews from renters and hope you love staying here as much as we do!"

Soddy Daisy is only a 20 min drive to Chattanooga where there are countless attractions to fill your day: you can visit the Aquarium, the Children's Discovery Museum, Hunter Art Museum, the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, check Coolidge Park for the Carousel ride, events or a nice walk along the river- be sure to walk across the Walnut Street Pedestrian bridge and grab a scoop of Ice Cream from Clumpy's.
Our home is also an easy walk or drive across the street to Pine Harbor Marina, Steve's Landing and the other great marinas and restaurants nearby...with a short scenic drive, you can visit state parks, historic parks and battlegrounds, including the famous Chickamauga battlefield. Visit the cannons at Point Park on Lookout Mountain, See Rock City and the beauty of Ruby Falls... the list goes on an on!
