The cabin was beautiful. Very well maintained. Awesome views. The deck was great. The shower in the upstairs bathroom was phenomenal. The light to room with the hot tub did not work so we were unable to use it at night. Also, a few other bulbs were out on some of the lamps. The fireplace worked perfectly and it made the entire upstairs warm. The pool table was great but you really need chalk for your pool sticks. The kitchen was nice, plenty of dishes to use and a great coffeemaker. We did load the dishwasher but there were no pods for the dishwasher so we were unable to run it. The road going up Bear Mountain is a little narrow but not too bad and it got easier the more we went up and down. We would definitely recommend this cabin and we will rent it again.

Amazing❣ Breathtaking 🏞

The property is Amazing it is high up road leading near to Cabin are steep traveling. However, the cabin is most Awesome! The view is breathtaking from sunset 🌄 to sunrise 🌅. The theater 📽area is a Great feature, the heart-shaped ❤ bath tub, & the hot tub 🧖‍♀️🧖‍♂️on the closed in porch 🤩. This Cabin is a SWEET, COZY, & ROMANTIC⚘ place to getaway!

Overall stay

Overall we enjoyed our time at this cabin. We did, however, notice the master bedroom king sized bed sunk down in the middle and was uncomfortable. Also, the projector downstairs had color that was out, so when we watched movies, some color was missing. The couches were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the master bathroom shower and heart shaped jacuzzi bathtub. There was also a cat that seemed to live there outside which kept us company.

Really Great Cabin

If you're looking for peace and quiet in a private location well look no more. This cabin was awesome. We read a couple reviews before our stay and i would like to touch on a couple things we read and experienced. First off the bed was soft and comfortable we slept great. Pool sticks only needed tips which we left a pack we had extras.....we played like 15 games of pool it was fun. Make sure you check weather before your stay ....with our experience I would say you must have 4 wheel drive for rain, Sleet, snow..etc....if its wet you will need. Other than that book your stay fast and yes we will return to this property and highly recommend.

Amazing cabin and views

My family and I had an awesome experience in this cabin for the week. Such a beautiful cabin. Amazing views of the mountains. There is a steep climb to get to this cabin but after one or two times you get use to the twists and turns. It’s really a beautiful cabin nestled on top of the mountain. Hot tub is nice. Jacuzzi tub was so romantic. One of the nicer cabins we’ve stayed in - in the area. Highly recommend!!

At last - peace and quiet

We loved the house and are appreciative of the opportunity to stay there for a few days. The winding climb to the cabin took some getting used to for someone who has only driven on flat, straight roads before but even that was enjoyable after a couple of trips up and down. We would definitely do it again.

Secluded home

This is a beautiful home WAY up in the mountains. The home is well appointed and had everything we needed for our vacation. While I believe this home is best suited for a romantic adult get-away, we took our 2 teenaged boys and they loved the home as well. Something that should be noted: this home does have WIFI but, due to the remote location, this WIFI is satellite based. This means that if you plan to do remote zoom-style meetings or use a streaming device (like a firestick) or services (like youtube), you will NOT be able to use these. We typically take our streaming devices on vacation and it was a little disappointing that we could not watch our programs, though that was never promised so that is on US. Not a big deal to many, but to teenagers, this was a small issue. Also, the location of this home does not lend itself to outdoor exploration. The house is perched on a steep incline and you really cannot hike or explore in the woods as you might think. Not a big deal to us, but may be to some. When they say this is not trailer friendly, they mean it. The road is very well maintained and freshly paved, but is a bit hair raising with the twists and turns. The driveway is extremely steep so keep this in mind. Would not be appropriate for anyone with mobility problems or difficulty with steps, etc. Very lovely home with everything you need! We had a great stay and enjoyed both the spa tub and hot tub outside. Pretty views of the area and a real feeling of solitude. Would definitely recommend!

Great property

My son and I stayed at Bear Elegance for a mother-son trip. The cabin was amazing! It was everything that the description and pictures said it was. Th pool table was great! I’m guessing we put in over 30 games of 8 ball and 9 ball. The customer services was too notch! We definitely will be staying there again!

Great secluded mountain stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a steep climb to the house, but doable. Remote, not bothered by anyone. Very comfortable bed and had all the amenities my family needed. Would stay again.

Cozy, with great views.

Amazing and clean cabin with awesome views. Jacuzzi and walk in shower were awesome. Children had a great time exploring the cabin and watching there favorite movies on the projector TV. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, cooking ware, and seasonings/ sugar/flour/ect. Drive up to the cabin is not for the faint of heart, just take it slow and it gets easier as the days go by. Not a deal breaker what so ever. We had two, 2-wheel drive vehicles with no issues (one day in the rain). Wifi was iffy. Overall great cabin and wonderful experience. Would come again and recommend to family and friends.

Honeymoon Getaway

This cabin was great for me and my wife. We spent the second half of our honeymoon week in this cabin. It was secluded but was still close enough for trips to gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed.
