Lakeukabums “happy to be home”

Had a great time. Met up other Family who stayed on the lake. House very convenient to everything. So nice of you to plan a parade on our arrival 🤣. Overall, had a great time. Beds were comfy, no problem with street noise. Thank you❤️

The location of the property overall was good. But it was close to the main road. So you can hear the cars, horse and buggy, and street noise. Other than that, the place was big enough for our party and location to places were convenient.

Central location, the canal is right across and onsite kayaks were a great addition. Kitchen has everything we were looking for. Two gripes I had were the cleanliness of the rooms upstairs, they were a little dusty and our room had way too many spiders. Also, one room smelt of weed, but after turning on the provided fans the smell seemed to go away a little. The other thing is the noise from outside does travel in, keeping the fans on helped a little with white noise.Customer service for the property promptly picks phone and responds - One standing fan was missing blades but was promptly replaced. Bathroom showers are small, so there was no way to avoid water splashing out during a shower. However, I like they had enough towels for our group of 8- I only had to launder the towels once during our 4 night stay, They have provided a lot of board games to play, our group with younger/older kids and adults really enjoyed using it after a long day outside. We also enjoyed the grill outside, but be careful there might be a very cute tabby cat that might be looking for some tidbits to eat :)

Great House for a Big Family

We loved having 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and space for our big group. The central living space was perfect for dining and socializing. The washer/dryer also came in handy. Suggestion: a 6-pack of extra toilet paper would help for longer rental stays. Overall, our stay was perfect. Thanks for everything!

Family visit

House was ok for us, we just needed a place to sleep while visiting family. Locations was not good, on the corner of a very busy intersection. House was situated in the parking lot of a best western so lots of people coming and going all hours right outside our window. Picture of house is not the one in the foreground with lovely porch but the one in the background. A/c seemed to be set at very cool temp but couldn’t shut off and open window because no screens and noise outside. There were no blankets that we could find and only bedspreads on beds.

Capable of keeping everyone under one roof

With multiple offers out for friends to join us for a birthday wine trip we needed enough beds for everyone. This allowed us the flexibility to have 4 - 8 guests comfortably with the option of up to 12 if need be. Just a short drive to Lake Seneca and you are mid way up the west shore (10 minute drive). You aren’t lake front but you can walk to downtown penn yan. Not sure if we will need this amount of space again but it will remain an option.
