About this space

Renovated and eco-friendly fisherman’s house in Olhão’s old town.
Casa W ALMIRANTE features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two rooftop terraces — one with a summer kitchen and barbecue.
Fully equipped with Wi-Fi, AC and all modern comforts, it combines traditional charm and contemporary design for four guests.

The space

Casa W ALMIRANTE is one of three eco-friendly fisherman’s houses in the Casa W Olhão concept.
Located in the pedestrian Barreta quarter, just minutes from the seafront and markets, it blends historic architecture with modern comfort.

Layout:

Ground floor: living-dining area, separate kitchen, shower room.

First floor: two bright bedrooms (queen 160×200 cm or 2×80×200 cm), bathroom, balcony.

Second floor: rooftop level with summer kitchen (fridge, sink, barbecue) opening onto two terraces — one sunny, one shaded under a pergola for outdoor dining.

Amenities: fast Wi-Fi, cable TV + Netflix, reversible air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, safe, heating, ceiling fans, first-aid kit, smoke detector.
Kitchen: microwave, toaster, kettle, juicer, espresso machine, eco-friendly cleaning products.
Bathroom: towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer, recycled paper.
Beach gear: towels, cooler bag, ice packs, parasol, paddle set.

Welcome basket: homemade jam, local wine, water, coffee (espresso, filter, French press), teas and Casa W products.

Beach gear provided: towels, parasol, cooler bag, ice packs and rackets.
A thoughtful renovation preserved the original tiles and ceilings.
Designed for four guests to enjoy Olhão “like home.”

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house and both private terraces.
Quiet street in the pedestrian district with free parking nearby.
Everything is walkable: seafront, markets, restaurants and ferries to Armona, Culatra and Farol islands.

Guest interaction

We live nearby and remain available throughout your stay.
Before arrival, you’ll receive three curated guides with our local favourites — secret beaches, markets, artisans and taverns.
Personal welcome and flexible check-in depending on your flight (when possible).
Luggage can be left after checkout during cleaning upon request.

Other things to note
Pets are welcome on demand for 15€/pet/night
Winter offers: –10 % for 7 nights or more, –15 % for 14 nights or more.
For stays of 10 nights or more: free mid-stay cleaning with linen change.
Tourist tax (€5–10 per person depending on season) to be paid on arrival.

Einfach nur toll!

Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage in der Altstadt. Es ist überaus gut mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt. Es gibt sogar eine Tasche für den Strand und Sonnenschirme! Alles war sehr sauber, tolle Betten, und auch sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Kontakt vorab zum Besitzer und Cristina vor Ort war auch klasse. Es gibt sogar eine Kleine Info-Broschüre mit Infos zum Haus und netten Restaurants und Geschäften. Von uns gibts 100 von 100 Punkten.

Very well equipped with many unexpected extras ( cold box/ freezer blocks/ sun brollies), available to use . The arrival was well hosted and we were made to feel very welcome . Loverly property inside , and the 2 rooftop patio areas , together with the additional kitchen facilities on the top floor really made it an enjoyable place to stay . Situated on a quiet street in the old town , but only a short walk to bars restaurants the markets and Ferry's .

Great holiday

Wonderful! It exceeded our expectations.Christina met us and told us more about the area and suggested restaurants etc. She was really helpful throughout the week. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Would love to go back.

Sehr schönes Haus mit zwei wundervollen Dach-Terrassen. Alle Schlafzimmer klimatisiert und mit Deckenventilator. Gute Kaffeekapselmaschine vorhanden. Schön war, da wir abends angekommen sind, dass sowohl eine Flasche Wasser als auch eine Flasche Rosé im Kühlschrank auf uns gewartet haben. Eine Schale mit frischem Obst rundet den sehr fre7ndlichen Empfang ab. Empfehlenswert.

Tolle zentrale Lage

In wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man alle Geschäfte und Restaurants, sowie den Hafen mit Fähranleger. Trotz zentraler Lage ist es dort ruhig zu wohnen mit toller Atmosphäre. Das Bett ist super bequem und alles blitzblank. Nach einer Woche gab es eine Zwischenreinigung mit frischer Wäsche. Unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt. Herzliche Grüße an Samuel Jutta und Uwe

Excellent séjour

Nous sommes ravis d'avoir séjourné dans cette propriété !! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et la communication avec notre hôte, le confort de la maison, le caractère du quartier à proximité du marché et de nombreux restaurants. Nous avons bien aimé aussi les plages (Fuseta, Armona), les visites dans la région (villes de Tavira, Estoi, ...). Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir à une prochaine occasion.

Perfekte Lokation in Olhao

Alles war perfekt.Cristina hat uns die Schlüssel übergeben und Alles erklärt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, mit gut ausgestatteter Küche sowie Sommerküche auf dem Dach und zwei tollen Dachterrassen, welche wir täglich zum Frühstücken oder Chillen nutzten. Zum Fischmarkt und Bäcker sind es nur wenige Meter. Einen Parkplatz haben wir immer vor dem Haus vorgefunden. Perfekt für zwei Ehepaare, da die Schlafzimmer in gegengesetzter Richtung angeordnet sind und das Haus zwei Bäder hat. Es gab keinen Stress.

Comfortable property in a great location

This house was as expected for a converted fisherman's house in the centre of the old town. Very well equipped, with everything we needed and more. Comfortable bed, decent showers and lovely terraces. It was great having the option of two terraces on opposite sides of the house, so we could have sun or shade as we wished. Great location for many restaurants, and very handy shop just around the corner. Very short walk to the seafront and ferry.

Wonderful location

We had a very relaxing time, the house is as described and very clean. Nice touches included tea, coffee and condiments, the water and wine on arrival were very much appreciated. This house is in a very central location, so no car required, however we were able to park nearby without difficulty. We would love to return!

Perfektes Urlaubsdomizil mit Charme

Das Haus erfüllte alle unsere Erwartungen und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt wird. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und war bei unserer Anreise top gereinigt. Cristina, die Hausverwalterin erwartete uns herzlich, führte uns durch das Haus und erklärte uns alles ausführlich. Abends bekamen wir per WhatsApp Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Olhão. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und würden dieses Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Nice house

The house is very nice, clean and well equipped. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, near the centre, the train and bus station and if you have a car, there is enough space to park. If I would go to Olhão again, for sure I would stay here again.

A beautiful house in an interesting town

The house was beautiful, very stylish, clean and well equipped. We particularly liked the roof terraces. Olhao was very interesting and not a tourist place. The house was only 15 minutes from the port so it was easy to see the islands.

Great break

A fabulous house with everything you could need. Really well equipped. We loved the kitchen in the middle of the 2 terraces. Sun morning and afternoon. Close to all the great restaurants in town and a really quiet neighbourhood. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Alle Erwartungen zur Gänze erfüllt!

Es fehlt an nichts. Top ausgestattete Küche um den frischen Fisch aus der Markthalle zubereiten zu können :-) Alle Zimmer, wichtig auch Badezimmer, sauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. 3 Balkone! für jede Tageszeit, einer mit Griller. Sehr gute zentrale Lage.

Très belle expérience

Tout était parfait. Cuisine très bien équipée, il ne manquait rien. Nous avons beaucoup aimé les deux terrasses et en avons profité pleinement. Il faudrait revoir le processus de l’accueil sans plus.

We had a vounderfull stay. Property manager was great and very helpfull.

We are very satisfyed with everything here. A perfect place to stay and to have for trips to the whole Algarve cost. I can recomand this place. It is big so it is no problem to be two couple.
