This property is absolutely stunning both inside and out! The view is breathtaking. We have already said that no other property we stay in will ever surpass it! The property is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you can possibly need.

Amazing location and views

This lower level apartment had amazing location. Just 30' from the water.Fire table and Hot Tub were AMAZING and we spent most of our time out there looking at the water.The kitchen is small so I couldn't see making any real meals for more than 2 peole in it and there is NO BBQ which we found unusual given the spectacular outside and small kitchen.2 Bedrooms with COMFORTABLE queen beds in both and large TV's in both BUT...NO TV in main area at all.The media room (mentioned in reviews) is not for use.It was not listed so that may be on us BUT I would remove reviews then that indicate it is available as that made it confusing.This means if there are MORE THAN 2 of you..it is everyone on the bed for TV night.We found that ODD given that there is room for 4 people in the apartment (2 bedrooms).We all huddled around the IPAD for movie night and that was disappointing.Bathroom had a great shower (huge rainfall and wand).It was very large which was great because that is also the entrance to the property.Overall we loved the locatiuon and the place was fine but these few missing ammenities would have us rethink visitng here again.We love Rental Homes so we can eat at home (get restuaranted out) and get all together for a movie or show..or just a little youtube.Having to drag kitchen chairs beside the bed just made it feel like a glorified...albeit lovely..hotel stay.

Stunning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The unit is bright and airy and had everything we needed. You can sit in or outside and look out over the water or at Mt Baker for hours. Soaking in the hot tub at the same time is even better!2 things I feel I need to mention are:The stairs to the unit - you will need to be able to navigate stairs. The family lives upstairs and you can hear them. Nothing out of the ordinary, but if this would bother you, than this is not the place for you.Otherwise this is a very clean, very comfortable place to stay. We could easily have stayed a lot longer...

Quiet and beautiful

This was a great way to get some quiet serenity during a long traveling trip! We love all the surrounding areas! The only complaint was that we messaged afterwards regarding something we may have left behind and didn’t get a response.

Pictures do not do this place justice!

Amazing property with the most incredible view. First night there saw a harbor seal, a bald eagle, and a hummingbird right in the back yard. There is also a full-on movie room which was an excellent surprise, although working the controls for that were a little confusing. Overall, it was an incredible stay!

Property and the view is very nice. The biggest turn off is having a security camera covering the whole yard and looking into house.

Great escape for us

Our stay at this property was absolutely fantastic! The stunning views from all angles were truly breathtaking even when rainy, and we loved waking up to such a beautiful view every morning. We even had a visit from some otters one evening. The home itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean—it's hard to believe a family lived above us. They were sweet enough to give us champagne for our anniversary. Wonderful choice for a peaceful getaway with gorgeous scenery and clean comfortable accommodations. Highly recommend.

All I can say is, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!

The views from the back yard are literally breathtaking and the house is situated in a quiet neighborhood, so if you want to you can walk in to the town of Sidney. It’s also a short distance to the airport and ferry terminals. We didn’t rent a car and just used Uber to get around. The owner was great to work with and although they live in the main house upstairs We really couldn’t hear them. We will definitely stay here again!

Girls Trip

Sabrina's place is beautiful and the location is amazing! I stayed here with a couple girlfriends for a 10K in Victoria and took advantage of the hot tub over looking the ocean. I would stay here again without a doubt! It was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the beds are super comfy! I highly recommend!

Amazing location and property

This property was located on a beautiful quiet cove that was convenient to so many activities. The home was beautiful, the hot tub and views were not to be missed, and we were able to day trip to hikes, whale watching, and even participated in a local ParkRun 5k! If you are a light sleeper you may want a white noise maker.

Peaceful setting with stunning views. We enjoyed views of seals, blue herons, the sunrise and the sunset. We enjoyed every minute. The patio is a great place to relax and the hot tub was a good way to end the day.

Sumptuous Sydney Delight

We were stunned and delighted by the views from the living room, bedroom and bathroom. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets, birds, boats, and lots of water activity all a few feet from the back patio. Very safe neighborhood for walking, grocery store, gas station and liquor store within 5 minutes. Seaglass Waterfront Cafe within walking distance. We ate here twice because it was so good. We felt like we had our own oasis. We never saw or heard from the host. Instructions for use were very easy. Super clean, well decorated, light, airy and peaceful. Only issue we had was carrying our luggage down 16 concrete steps. We took it easy and thought the beauty of the site was worth this effort.

Well Done

A lovely place to stay. The view is incredible and the home is well kept. We would definitely come again. If you are traveling by boat as we were, it’s very close to Van Isle Marina and makes it very convenient. As a bonus, the marina has a very nice restaurant on property.

Amazing view

Listing is as pictured, pretty clean, kitchen is well stocked, outdoor living space is beautiful. Check in process is super easy. While the listing said it was the owner's family home, please note that they are home, you will see them and their family and you will hear them, very nice people.

We love to travel and stay in VRBO properties around the world, our favourite place to visit is Maui! In the summer months we can be found exploring the gulf islands by boat with our three adorable girls. We feel so incredibly blessed to live in Sidney by the Sea, and the ever-changing beauty of living on the ocean.

We fell in love with the south facing lot, that gives us panoramic views of Mount Baker, and Sidney Spit. We are close to Van Isle Marina so we get a front row seat watching Sail Boats, Yachts and Cruise Ships cruise by! We are also amazed by the wildlife - eagles, blue herons and all types of birds. We have also seen Orca whales from our deck, as well as a baby seal pup swim right up close to the shore!

This property is an amazing oasis that will put you right in the scene of a postcard! The ocean has a unique ability to just melt away all your stress! Imagine drinking your morning coffee in the hot tub while watching the sun rise, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore, is there anything more perfect?! We are in an ideal location that is 5 minutes to the ferry airport and Sidney by the sea. 15 minutes to world famous Butchard Gardens. We are a short 25 minute drive to downtown Victoria! The perfect spot to celebrate a milestone and/or enjoy your west coast dream vacation!
