We loved our stay! The ocean view is incredible and so relaxing with the hot tub and patio. We even managed to see orcas breaching the ocean on our last day. The place was immaculate, the hosts are wonderful, Sidney is a great little town and the location is handy to the ferry, airport and Victoria. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

This beautiful property is in the ideal location - a short drive to Victoria and an even shorter drive to the BC ferries. We were able to spend a day on Salt Spring Island and another day in Victoria. As icing on the cake, the charming, seaside town of Sidney is itself well worth exploring. The house was well-equipped, immaculate and wonderful to return to after a long day exploring. The hot tub with the amazing view was a delight we looked forward to every afternoon/evening. We loved taking walks through the beautiful (and very quiet) neighborhood, so relaxing! Thank you to our hosts for sharing their truly exceptional property!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Sidney property and would happily return. The location is fantastic, situated in a gorgeous, peaceful community that is just minutes from everything you could need, yet still feels like a quiet oceanside retreat. The oceanfront view is absolutely stunning and was our favourite part of the stay. We spent so much time enjoying the beautiful backyard, relaxing while taking in the scenery and listening to the water. It was the perfect place to unwind. The beds were also exceptionally comfortable, and we all slept very well. Our first evening had a couple of unexpected hiccups. We arrived right at the 4:00 p.m. check-in time but had to wait about 30 minutes because the cleaner was running behind. Later that evening, we had a rather persistent raccoon visitor that lingered around the patio, which meant we stayed indoors since we were travelling with our 4-pound dog. That first night was also a little noisier than we expected.Thankfully, the rest of our stay was completely different. The following three days were peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we had hoped for. We were able to fully enjoy the tranquility of the property and its incredible setting.Overall, this is a beautiful home in an amazing location with spectacular ocean views, a lovely backyard, comfortable accommodations, and easy access to everything Sidney has to offer. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

My husband and I built our dream home on the ocean in 2018. He is a builder and I have a passion for interior design. Together we have built and designed many homes together. We love to travel and stay in VRBO properties around the world, our favourite place to visit is Maui! In the summer months we can be found exploring the gulf islands by boat with our three adorable girls. We feel so incredibly blessed to live in Sidney by the Sea, and the ever-changing beauty of living on the ocean.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We fell in love with the south facing lot, that gives us panoramic views of Mount Baker, and Sidney Spit. We are close to Van Isle Marina so we get a front row seat watching Sail Boats, Yachts and Cruise Ships cruise by! We are also amazed by the wildlife - eagles, blue herons and all types of birds. We have also seen Orca whales from our deck, as well as a baby seal pup swim right up close to the shore!

この宿泊施設の特徴

This property is an amazing oasis that will put you right in the scene of a postcard! The ocean has a unique ability to just melt away all your stress! Imagine drinking your morning coffee in the hot tub while watching the sun rise, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore, is there anything more perfect?! We are in an ideal location that is 5 minutes to the ferry airport and Sidney by the sea. 15 minutes to world famous Butchard Gardens. We are a short 25 minute drive to downtown Victoria! The perfect spot to celebrate a milestone and/or enjoy your west coast dream vacation!
