Apartment was in great location with incredible views of Positano. Loved the outdoor patio, pool and surrounding lemon trees. Nice to have a kitchen for making breakfasts and cooking in some nights. Got used to the stairs to house after 1st day. Would recommend to family and friends if coming to Amalfi Coast.

Absolutely wonderful!

The rental was beautiful and had every amenity one could need. The neighborhood was lovely. The hosts (a beautiful italian family) couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The view of Positano was amazing and we can't wait to return one day!!

Casa Zenia B was perfect for our family vacation. The view is gorgeous, one of the most beautiful places in the world! The apartment had all the amenities one could need and the hosts were delightful and helpful. I hope to return to Positano and this apartment soon! The listing was accurate and the booking process easy.

One thousand steps

We loved the decorations and tile work in this villa. The terrace is extremely spacious and provided amazing views. The air conditioning worked very well. The owners were so kind. But don’t stay here if you aren’t able to climb stairs. It is 330 steps up from the nearest bus stop and market. It is just over 1,000 steps up from the beach. My family is fit and we actually found it to be a fun challenge (which is why we counted). It took us about 20 minutes to walk down to the beach, and about 32 minutes to walk up (we did it twice). Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Amazing Views, great balcony and perfect accommodations

Our family of 4 ( 2 adults & 2 teens) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mastro/Casa Zenia B). The air conditioning and especially the pool, were truly welcomed after spending time in Positano or taking the ferry to different destinations and then walking up the many steps to the apartment. While we did not mind the steps & utilized them each of our several days, there are 1000 steps down to the beach/town center & then 1000 up to Casa Mastro. (there are buses that will transfer you, but never seemed to be available when we were heading out :). As stated, the AC was great, the water pressure and water temperature, as well as the size of the showers, were greater than experience in other areas of Italy. The beds were very comfortable, with appropriate comforters and pillows provided. From someone with thick shoulder length hair, the hairdryers they provided were welcome, over the travel one "for the US to Italy one" I had purchased. When we initially booked this property, the listing stated that there were no TV's, but there actually is a TV in the kitchen/family area. Although most channels were in Italian, we did find one channel in English. While being lower in Positano may provide you with a shorter walk to the beach and such, the location of Casa Mastro provides the most outstanding, memorable & breathtaking views! The very large balcony allowed us wonderful evenings dining out under the full moon with food from the local Ristorante Da Costantino's. while our teens relaxed in the pool. Casto Mastro includes a fantastic opportunity to relax, get a great workout, enjoy life changing memorable views, with many other destinations within a short reach (Almafi, Capri, Ravello, Sorrento, Pompeii etc) while enjoying the peace and quiet and incredible views that being farther up on the mountain can offer.

Fabulous view from (pretty much) the highest house in Positano. CAUTION: Stairs, to anyway, are quite challenging: 113 from street to house (elevator/lift from street to 1/2 way up to house); 1065 stairs from beach/town to house!!! (Stairs are very deep/high & many uneven. Most without railings. Also very long for many short-leg strides (too long for just 1 footstep, but not long enough for 2 footsteps).

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Zenia B. The views are just fantastic. The house is very well maintained and has beautiful plants on the terrace. The washer was really convenient as we were traveling with kids. The bathrooms were very nice and we enjoyed the rain showers, they were a bonus. We cooked a couple of meals in the kitchen, it was nice to be able to do that. Could have used a few more dishes to cook as we were a party of 8. We enjoyed the terrace table with the views. Didn't really get to use the pool though. The owner was very helpful in giving us all the needed information to find the house and helping us with the check-in. She was available via text messages when needed and gave us tips on the "Path of the Gods" hike. The checkout process was very easy as well.

WOW! The photos did not do Casa Zenia B justice! The terrace and view are amazing. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The family were very welcoming and extremely helpful, excellent communication. They really helped us when my daughter got ill and arranged an English-speaking doctor and even fetched the medication she required. Nothing was too much trouble. An amazing apartment in the heart of a lovely community away from the tourist part of Positano. Such a bonus to have your own swimming pool, very rare in Positano. So easy to book with Summer In Italy, answered any questions very quickly and made the whole booking process very easy.

We loved our stay at Casa Zenia B. The view from the terrace it unbeatable to anything in Positano. You are the house at the very top of the hill and it is beautiful. The walk up the stairs can be tough, but you are in Positano after all, so lots of walking is to be expected. The owners were incredibly helpful and very attentive to anything we needed. Honestly, only thing we ever call them for, was when we lost power during a thunder storm. Every thing you need is there! I found my experience with Summer In Italy to be wonderful! They were extremely helpful and always pleasant to deal with. I will look to use them again on my next trip to Italy.

Spectacular terrace

Spectacular terrace. The second bedroom was at back and quite dark but I guess you only go there to sleep anyway. Hadn't realized that property was literally the highest place in Positano with lots of stairs to the beach! Overall a great experience but may look at somewhere more at a mid point location in the future. Great company and customer service.

Heaven on earth

Heaven on earth - wonderful views, clean and spacious living - and the family just Divine. I will definitely be staying here again on my return. Summer in Italy were fantastic! We had a fantastic stay at Casa Zenia B. The apartment was in a superb location, amazing views (if not the best in Positano!) and lovely spacious accommodation. Ivan [the owner] and his parents were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. 2 days before the end of our trip I injured my knee and Ivan helped us find a doctor and made the whole situation a lot easier. What a place, I couldn't recommend it more. Summer in Italy was very helpful, very nice emails to revive while planning our trip.

We lived like rockstars at this beautiful, private house on the top of Positano. The owner family makes you feel like it is your home from the moment you arrive. They had put beds in the living room and refreshed the pool on the deck for my daughter. We ate aubergine (eggplant), tomatoes, basil, potatoes, and peppers from the gardens and collected eggs from the chickens. A neighbour cut fresh grapes from the side of his home for us as we were returning from the beach. The neighbouring restaurant (Costantino's) has wood-fired pizza, mouth-watering family-style Italian dinners, and melt-in-your-mouth seafood. Everything served is fresh that day; including the Buffalo mozzarella. The grocer down the hill has a deli, wine in bulk, liqueur, and a good selection of essentials. They will deliver, so you don't need to carry it up the hill. The buses around town and to other towns stop just 5 minutes down the hill. The ferries to Capri, etc. depart from the center of town. I can't say enough good things about this location. My 60 y.o. in-laws loved the view and quiet. My husband and I liked exploring the stairs around the town. My daughter loved how friendly the locals were and how special they made her feel.

We enjoyed our stay greatly

We enjoyed our stay greatly. Very quiet (except for the car horns!!) with stunning views, exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got. Even the steep steps (you have to expect this). There a couple of close by restaurants that served great food and even their own transport home again!! Overall fantastic holiday.
