Nice two weeks…absolutely a great location and biew

If you’re interested in a great location with fantastic views…it’s here! I enjoyed my two weeks at this location…plenty of dolphins, birds and fish to view from balcony and pier. Unit was nice with everything one might need.

Ocean and bay experience

Absolutely heaven. The balcony was our favorite place watching dolphins, manatee and many birds and other fish, just beautiful. We loved that we could walk across the street to the ocean or down the street to restaurants and shops.

Captain’s Cove

The location of this unit is very convenient to everything.I have stayed in this particular unit the past years. The owner needs to restock the kitchen. Additional glasses, silverware. The skillets are horrible. Everything sticks. A crockpot would be a great addition.

Amazing views from this condo!

Had a great time staying at this condo!!The condo looks exactly as the photos show/described. Overall cleanliness met the expectations! The unit has amazing intracoastal views and it’s just a short walk to the beach. The pool was kept clean and nice throughout the stay.

I believe there was bed bugs at the resort. My wife , and one of our kids was getting ate up. And , now I think we brought some home. Not happy at all

We were moved to this unit after our prior unit had a plumbing leak through the ceilings. Amazing view but that was about it. Ants in kitchen, were not able to get TVs to connect - place was not the cleanest and definitely needs updating. We were woke up many times by doors slamming and people above stomping not much sleep while there. Parking was rather tricky and the stairs are steep to the condo with no elevator

Great unit and location, horrible management

We can’t give this more than two stars. To be clear, the property itself is excellent! Great location, nicely appointed, and quite comfortable. The problem is the management of the property. First, the photos on here include furniture that doesn’t exist in the unit. One of the reasons we picked this place was because it had plenty of comfy looking seating, but when we got there, some of the furniture is just not there. Second, the place wasn’t clean when we arrived. Hair in the sheets, sand on the floor, and the washing machine was just gross. Third, there is no mention of the parking garage having a very low clearance (6’ 6”). We had to park outside because my truck won’t fit in the garage. Fourth, there is zero mention that this place doesn’t have an elevator. We were traveling with an 81 year old and there is no elevator! Kinda need to know that, people! Fifth, the AC would randomly reset itself to 80 degrees. We thought it was an automatic thing that happened at midnight each day, but no. We’d come back from the pool/fishing/beach/etc., and it would be so hot in the unit. Sure enough, the AC was set to 80 again. We kept it at 72, which I don’t think is unreasonable when it’s 92+ outside, but it kept resetting to 80. Very annoying. Sixth, four remotes and zero instructions for using the TV. Numerous boxes behind it, but we couldn’t figure out how to get anything to work. I think the cable box came on at one point, but the TV screen showed “Guide loading, please wait” for well over an hour and never allowed us to watch anything. Lastly, all of our attempts to reach out to the management company were ignored. Yes, they responded via text/email, but all they said was “We apologize for the inconvenience. The local team will reach out soon.” They never did, though. No one ever followed up on anything we reached out to them about – the missing furniture, the unit being dirty, etc. We stopped reaching out because it was more annoying to hear nothing back than to just deal with whatever was wrong ourselves. Again, the unit is nice and in a great location. But the owners need to take a serious look at a different management company. We will never again stay anywhere Vacasa manages. Ever.

Location is Great the condo needs work

The house was in a great location. We arrived to location a couple hours early and tried to check in early. We were told that there were no other people in the house and while the house was empty we could not check in early or at least put our things in the house. When we arrived in the condo we were told there were no chair or things to take to the beach but there were. I feel like the people you make contact with have no idea about the condo. The house was ok although it was not cleaned very well. I called the rental people when I went to use the washing machine and there was black mold in the machine. I was told someone would be by to fix the issue but no one came or called me back. I ended up cleaning it my self. There were no cleaning supplies and only one roll of paper towels. The hall bath was extremely dark and we had to take the outer shower curtain off to see. The master shower was dirty. The hall vent was covered in dust and there where stains on the pillows for the couch and blankets for the master bedroom. Communication was unclear tried to reach out to the rental people multiple times there was no parking pass even though it was indicated that I needed a parking pass. Larger trucks will not fit in the garage. The area is nice the beach is clean.

Getting Away From the Cold

This is a beautiful property. Great location. Close to everything. The unit is very roomy with a wonderful view. Everything was very clean. Check in was easy as well as check out. Vacasa is the good.

Fun vacation

The condo itself was fine but there were some some issues with some of the towels had stains on them and some dust so we had to do some cleaning and bought new towels other than that very nice

Pretty good overall

We liked the pier views and proximity to beach access. However, there was only two towels and one washcloth provided per bathroom. We ended up having to go purchase more washcloths. The walls are super thin. We heard everything going on above us to the point where they would wake us up. We did enjoy the spot though. It was totally worth it!

Captains Cove

This truly is the most perfect place to be. Watch the dolphins, manatees and all the wildlife whilst sitting on the balcony in the sunshine. Just so peaceful. Fishing off the dock is the BEST ! The apartment is so clean and the location is just perfect for explaining Tampa Bay and beyond. Can’t wait to go back !! Til next time…….

Great for a week away.

We loved our week in Indian Shores! A very short walk to the beach, heated pool and peer for fishing. From our window, we say stingrays and manatees.

Not Handicapped Accessible, Noisy Neighbors

Beautiful views and well appointed condo. Overall our experience was very positive. However, the Room number sounded like it was on the first floor, but it is actually on second floor, requiring 11 steps. There is no elevator. This made it very difficult for my elderly father. Also, there is no sound barrier between condos and we had a small herd of elephants above us the first week, and teenagers next door the 2nd week.

Local Staycation

My family and I stayed here for a week for the 4th of July. The location was great, and being able to bring our mini goldendoodle was a great selling point (who wants to vaca without their fur baby?) The pool is really warm since it is smaller and this is Florida, so it was basically empty the whole time. The kids didn't care at all. They loved hanging in there and playing their music. The dock out back was so amazing to fish from. We used squid and caught so many fish! Lots of catfish, a sting ray, a huge red fish that was almost as big as my 7yr old, sunnies, and a huge sheephead! Just so much fun for the kids to do at all hours of the day and night and actually catch fish! The beach was so close too. Literally a skip away from the entrance at the condo. I did have issues getting into the condo, so that was frustrating. And a few other minor issues that I will let vacasa know about directly. We watched fireworks from the balcony that were all down the strip! They were great also. And there is also great restaurants right there DJ's Clam Shack has the best clam chowder I have ever had. And we also ordered from The Dog and Parrot which was good also. All in all I would stay here again. Ironically, I really wanted to stay on the beach side, but now I don't know if I'll ever stay anywhere again without a dock to fish from. So fun!
