This is a beautiful space! We didn't know for sure based on the listing where we'd be staying (which part of the house) but maybe we didn't read it clearly. We rented the entire lower level and it's really spacious, clean, and pretty. The kitchen is huge and you can tell the owner likes to bake/cook. :) And there was a lot of history, books, and art you can enjoy. The fireplace was a big plus! Even though it was hot outside, the space was cool and comfortable. It would have been extra nice to have a screen door on the entrance door to get the breeze coming through as there is only one window in the front. You can walk down to the pier at Inkpot Lake and it's very peaceful. You can see a bit of the lake from the house, but not much. The entire area is insanely quiet! If you stay here be sure to visit Schneider et Fille Pottery which is next door. And, Musky Shores is a fun place to play pool and enjoy a brandy old fashioned! Both within walking distance. Great location, beautiful space, comfortable, clean, attractive lodging. Would recommend for a couple for sure!
