We LOVED Elk Manor. The cabin is so cozy, and the surroundings are amazing - being right on the river was beautiful and peaceful. Also a short drive to town and some great hikes and fishing spots.

Beautiful property! Our family had a nice stay. We loved the decor and it was very comfortable. The river out back and the fire pit beside the river were the icing on the cake. 2 things to note. It was a very hot week when we were there. The downstairs stayed very comfortable and cool, however the upstairs did not. Thankfully we were provided with a box fan to help with this. Also, quite a moisture issue in the downstairs bedrooms. We had to empty the dehumidifier at least once a day.

Great location and beautiful cabin

This was a wonderful stay and the cabin was prettier in person. It was right off of the river and the outdoor sounds and views were exactly what we needed for a restful vacation. Check-in was easy and everything was exactly as described. Great place to stay while you’re at Helen!

Cozy and quaint cabin right on the river. Did some fishing in the backyard and also at Smith Creek in nearby Unicoi State Park. Quick drive from the cabin into Helen for morning coffee and meals. Great place to get away for a few days.

The host stayed in constant communication. There was a strong little squall of winds that came through while we were there and knocked out power a couple of times. The host stayed in contact. Beautiful cabin and location, right on the water. If ever back in this area, we would stay again. This is a perfect cabin for a group wanting to do a little fly fishing! The pictures describe it very well.

Overall, the Elk Lodge was great! Very nice rooms, wonderful outdoor spaces. The only thing I would say is that the stairs to get to the master bedroom were very steep so if you have a hard time with mobility, be careful. The property staff was excellent!
