First night was difficult to sleep due to the odor throughout the condo. So after that slept in the room with the twin beds the rest of the stay. This condo has been completely neglected from the dishes being washed to the floors being mopped and cleaned. I'm sure the resort has some very nice condos here but this one managed by Vacasa is awful. Due to this experience I'll never rent anything from Vacasa again.

Terrible Property - VRBO should inspect properties
We recently rented a unit through VRBO but managed by Vacasa and were very disappointed with the condition of the property upon arrival. The stove was extremely dirty, with a heavy buildup of grease and old aluminum foil inside. The tables were dusty, creating the impression that no thorough cleaning had been done before our check-in. Additionally, the closets were full of miscellaneous items, leaving us unable to use them, and the carpet was dirty and heavily stained.We specifically selected a professionally managed property to avoid issues like this, where it seems no final inspection was conducted after the cleaning.We contacted the support person listed in our agreement and explained the condition of the unit, particularly the stove and the cleaner arrived at 12:30 p.m. with only a duster and stove spray. No other cleaning was performed. While we understand the stove is older, we expected it to be clean and functional. The dust on the tables was unacceptable, and although it was difficult to tell with the bedding, we felt the need to brush off the sheets ourselves to ensure they were clean. We took photos and contact manager. Nothing was done.

Terrible property to stay, and Vacasa don't care about it.
We recently rented a unit managed by your company and were very disappointed with the condition of the property upon arrival. The stove was extremely dirty, with a heavy buildup of grease and old aluminum foil inside. The tables were dusty, creating the impression that no thorough cleaning had been done before our check-in. Additionally, the closets were full of miscellaneous items, leaving us unable to use them, and the carpet was dirty and heavily stained.
We chose to book through Vacasa because of the positive experiences our family has had in the Santa Rosa Beach area. We had high expectations, particularly given your company’s strong reputation and the policies that promote quality and professionalism. We specifically selected a professionally managed property to avoid issues like this, where it seems no final inspection was conducted after the cleaning.
We contacted the support person listed in our agreement and explained the condition of the unit, particularly the stove. She informed us that someone would arrive the next day at 11:00 a.m. to clean. However, the cleaner arrived at 12:30 p.m. with only a duster and stove spray, which made no noticeable difference. No other cleaning was performed. While we understand the stove is older, we expected it to be clean and functional. The dust on the tables was unacceptable, and although it was difficult to tell with the bedding, we felt the need to brush off the sheets ourselves to ensure they were clean. We also sent photos to the contact person showing the issues we encountered.This unit had a no-cancellation policy and required us to sign an agreement, which we fully respected. In return, we expected a clean and welcoming environment—especially after driving over 10 hours from Florida. The contact person offered to send additional cleaning staff and provide either a free late check-out or a partial refund of the cleaning fee (approximately $53). While we appreciate the gesture, we feel this does not adequately reflect the inconvenience and discomfort we experienced at the start of what was meant to be a relaxing vacation. Additionally, we spoke with the lobby manager, who indicated this is not the first time this unit has had issues and assured us that the matter would be escalated to the property owner, as it could negatively affect the resort’s reputation. The resort itself was beautiful and well maintained—it was only our unit that failed to meet expectations. We contacted them, which it was an email completely ignore, so I guess Vacasa doesn't really care about guess service.

No parking at the condo. Have park at the bottom of the property and take the shuttle. The shuttle is dirty and run down. The rental property had mold, mildew, and dirt.

Condo in clouds
Comfortable home like and a lovely view of Grandfather mountain. You really are above it all. Sometimes you will even find yourself in the clouds! The apartment is well kept but the rest of the the buildings are like being in an 1980 low budget motel. No where to walk or park and they do a good job shuttling you to and from your car. The wind whistles through the windows if you don’t have them sealed tight. Not great for enjoying opening of windows for enjoying mountain air. Vacasa was great service. If anyone who does maintenance the shower in master does not drain well and toilet likes to regurgitate even tiny bits of toilet paper! I wouldn’t stay here again.
