Beautiful Retreat

We loved our stay at Trout Creek. Unit 55 was clean, comfortable, and stylish. We loved sitting on our private patio watching the sunset and enjoying nature. The pool was fabulous and staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s a great location for exploring Petoskey and Harbor Springs.

Stays

Great maintenance guy. We never received the email with our door code. The maintenance guy was great in helping us get in after hours. Even after I called and my husband called. We didn’t know office closed at 4pm. Both of us spoke to people. And my husband even got code to the safe box in the office entry. But to no avail. Otherwise great rest of stay. Pillows could use an update. But all was clean and warm.

Ski weekend

Trout Creek is always a favorite place to stay for skiing up north. The condo didn’t disappoint! Great view of Highlands lite up. Very clean and comfortable. We’ll be back! Thank you!!

Our furnace needed service. Maintenance manager did an excellent job coordinating and communicating with us as he arranged for a technician to replace the control board

Cozy and close to Nubs

Positive: Kitchen had all the essentials. Kids enjoyed the pool. Nice hot tub and dry sauna. Close to Nubs and Highlands. Friendly staff. Our fob and Internet didn't work at first and they were very quick to fix it. Needs improvement: the smoke smell from the fireplace in upstairs unit strongly presented to downstairs unit. Furnace didn't have enough make up air if bathroom and bedroom doors closed (draft down fire place needs reversing by cracking a window and turning on the fireplace). Need plungers in bathrooms.

Just a few issues

The television interface was difficult to use, and we never did find any basic cable; it would be helpful if there were written instructions for the TV. Also, the thermostat had a mind of its own, and a couple of different times it switched temperatures from what we had set it at. Again, written instructions for the thermostat would have been helpful.

Nice property

Very nice property, conveniently located between Harbor Springs and Petoskey, Mi. They have everything you need indoors and out. Clean, comfortable units, would definitely consider coming back.
