House is as listed. Nothing too fancy but is not needed. Yard is great for family/kidsDock could use some updating/repairs especially if visitors want to fish off it. If dock was beefed out a bit the property could be advertised as a fishing experience, fishing was very good off the dock

Lovely property, and very thoughtfully equipped. Great location too! We played in the sand with our son , watched movies, docked a boat for the day. Went to Havana 33 for dinner and it was 10/10! A little pricy but so delicious. Will probably be booking again next summer! Thanks for everything!

Place was as described and very clean. Nice location. We enjoyed sitting under a tree and watching the lake. We also enjoyed the kayaks.

The owners take pride in their property and made sure that it was up to their standards before our arrival. The house was clean and provided plenty of essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toilet paper, trash bags, paper towel, dishwasher pods, dish soap, etc) for the entire week we stayed, which is uncommon for rentals. The description and pictures are accurate and there is plenty of space for people to spread out. They do have central air and another unit to help cool the house (as described), but we had no issues with the temperature inside the house with both units. One positive with this property was that you have a small sand area, which we used a lot during our stay. Only heads up I would give future renters is that the canoe states it seats 4 (with 2 seats), a double kayak, and a single kayak. However, there is only 2 kayak paddles and 2 canoe paddles/ores. Therefore, you have to get creative at times depending on what you are planning to use at 1 time. The only other heads up I would give, which is no fault of the owners, is that during our week stay we witness neighborhood dogs exploring the property at least 3/7 days we were there. Although we didn’t have any negative encounters with them I think it is important to note if you have littles or people who are afraid of dogs in your group you might want to keep a look out.

Hidden Gem on the Lake

My husband and I booked this property last minute when we saw there was a two day opening available. So glad we did!! It was a perfect little getaway during a work trip. It was just the two of us, but this house is perfect for families. We were wishing we had our kids with us. The house was so cozy and had everything we needed. We loved sitting by the lake with a drink, cooling off in the water, swimming, and kayaking the beautiful channels close by. This will be our go to place when we are back in the area.

Family Friendly

Quiet Getaway

The property was just as decribed in pictures and listings. No issues finding the location and everything was in good condition. My only suggestion would be to remove the leaves around the porch area so it is more visible.

Great place on the lake!

The house was extremely clean and had absolutely everything we needed! There were small surprises everywhere that showed the care that was put in. The area is extremely quiet and the views are spectacular!!

Annual visit to Lake Norman

We found the property and amenities met all our needs. More spacious than expected. Plenty of life jackets and beach towels which was nice if we were to use the kayaks. Convenient to the friends we were meeting and close to bars and restuarants.

Very accommodating and roomy

We had ourselves and our son with his girlfriend and our other son and local friends stopped by. Plenty of room and parking. We were able to use the boat lift after dropping in at Long Island Marina not too far away. That was great! It was super hot in high nineties so the A/C struggled a bit but there were 2 box fans that were quiet and helped cool the room. We loved the double and single kayak. There was a canoe that we never used but would have if all wanted to go at the same time. Grill worked great. Too hot for fire pit but still enjoyed the new Adirondack chairs. We were always able to find sun or shade. We jumped off the dock to swim and because there was no ladder to get back up, we used our boat ladder. We could have just used the small beach so that is a great option for swimming. We truly had a great week and this place accommodated us for sure!

Girls weekend

4 generations celebrated birthdays and ejoyed kayaking, chatting, and enjoying the beauty of the lake. Beautiful location, comfortable house. Plenty of room. Will ne back.
