Not a real joy

Not good over all. Mold on the shower curtains, dust, dirt, and cobwebs on walls and and air vents. Lots of food crumbs left on floors. Hand prints and smears on windows. Some what dated overall. Felt the cookware was sub power. The condo needed a very good cleaning/scrub carpet, walls, ceilings, vents. Check in office is few miles from property had a hard time from the ladies at the check in office about about having more than one parking pass. They only left us 4 resort bracelets initially. Respectfully, real Joy did address some issues, replaced shower curtains and brought us more resort bands. But overall check-in was rough. Condo was unclean resort was so, so overall we'll never book through real Joy again. The resort themselves will not do anything to help us all Situations had to go through real Joy so everything was delayed or a total fiasco.

Great beachfront view

We’ve stayed at Edgewater many times. This condo had lots of space. It needs some updating and definitely a deep cleaning. The property was listed accurately.

Nice place

Everything was as advertised. The room was clean and well stocked. Plenty of dishes,pans and most cookies utensils. The closets had plenty of clothes hangers which is unusual in my experience. We were short one parking pass and a simple phone call resolved the issue within 20 minutes. A really good property.

This condo had the best layout for our large group. Wrap around balcony with 3 doors going outside. Well maintained grounds. It was a short walk to the main pool. We chose to stay with the pool beside our building. It was a lot less crowded.

Christmas week vacation

Awesome property

Wonderful family vacation! Other than the weather not cooperating, which could not be helped, Double Red Flags, we had a blast. The condo was exactly as described. We will be staying here again

Amazing View- Needs remodeling

The view was absolutely beautiful!!!! The downfall
. The kitchen had bugs underneath the cabinets and the sink would not drain properly. The AC never got below 74, the TVS kept losing “service “, the master bathtub drain wouldn’t drain well! The entire place needs a major deep cleaning and remodel.

Vacation Stay

Our stay was great! Place was clean, staff was helpful when needed. The freezer went out mid-way through our stay and they accompanied us right away. Location was nice, right on the beach and by the beach access and pool. Loved that security was present daily and were considerate.

Great retreat/vacation!

Our family was able to get away and enjoy Panama City Beach. We loved being on the end of the resort. Less people on beach, close to pier, beautiful sunsets from patio. Loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, kitchen stocked, very close to beach and parking lot! LOVED IT!

A little disappointed

We have always visited Panama City many times and stayed at various properties. The one thing we really enjoy is sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and shade. The marketing on the ad should have placed highlighted note in yellow that the balcony doors were inoperable at the top of description. Noting this at the very bottom of the list to me was clever. The broken door access was not clear in the pictures. I had to reach out the day before to get property info. Although they stated that they would initiate communication. The balcony doors are slightly opened allowing outside air in I’m sure AC out and then the noise from other individuals constant throughout the night. If you intend on staying at this unit and don’t mind not having access to the balcony it will suffice. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to prepare meals. There were plenty of towels in all the bathrooms. All the TVs worked well.

Needs Improvement

Overall, our stay was 3/5 since it was a short weekend trip and knew we weren’t going to cook and require a full kitchen. We had no balcony access, due to all doors being restricted! Trust me the view would have been amazing, but had no access! Windows were to filthy to even take a picture! Air conditioner stinks! We had to buy 3 fans for our comfort! The condo is a little outdated! If you are looking for somewhere to sleep for a cheap and location this is a perfect condo!

Review-

The only cons I had were, the property was supposed to sleep 10. We had 6. There were only 4 towels available. We had to wash towels before everyone could even shower. Also, the door lock with code- you could literally enter ANY number and get in. Also, no other way to lock the door. Otherwise, we had a great experience.

Bath tub handles broke off. Kitchen faucet had to be repaired when it came off. Three of four sliding glass doors were inoperable. Wood floors were so dirty we had to keep shoes on or our feet were black on bottom.

Realjoy did a great job communicating with all of our issues with condo.

The condo is not ready for a rental. Poorly maintained. We were only allowed to use one door for balcony. We had to purchase ice trays because ice maker and water in refrigerator did not work. Internet in the rooms took a couple days to get hooked up because owners had not paid their Internet bill. The living room area had issues and we were unable to watch TV in there the entire week stay. We ended up purchasing a few items for the kitchen because either they did not have it or they were so disorganized we didn't find what we needed until after the fact. There was a baseboard not attached for a cosmetic issue going into kitchen The washer and dryer did not work over the weekend because they detergent tray would not go in until repairman from realjoy came to resolve that issue. Two of the bathroom bathtubs had issues. One guest bathroom faucet didn't work and the other leaked so everyone had to use the master tub/ shower. One of the bedrooms doors fell off the hinges when daughter was in room changing. Realjoy had to fix also.

Needs LOTS of improvements & cleaning

This condo at Leeward 308 needs updates, repairs & a deep clean. There are four sliding doors giving access to the beach front balcony but not one was working. We were not informed of this prior to our arrival. We spent all week with no access to the balcony. This was especially difficult for us because we had an elderly parent that was not able to walk on the beach & not able to enjoy the beach from the balcony. The furnishings could use updating and a good cleaning. This unit was cleaner when we left than it was when we arrived. It really needs a thorough deep cleaning. The beds were pretty comfortable. The TVs do not have the usual cable or satellite service so channels available for viewing are very limited. We made the best of our week with family but were overall very disappointed in this condo. We will not stay in it again. In all fairness after multiple calls texts and emails with management we were offered and received a partial refund but it was not adequate to compensate for the disappointment and frustration. We should have been informed there was no balcony access when we made the reservation or at least prior to arrival so we had a chance to select a different condo.

Disappointed

The property was nice however the most important part for the seniors with us was the balcony. And all the doors to the balcony were inoperable orbroken. When brought to the attention of the property manager. They told us someone would be out the next day and they never showed up
