The cabin home was a wonderful welcoming home that our family felt very comfortable in. We enjoyed the warmth of the beautiful Fireplace and the upscale kitchen and appliances. Our dog enjoyed being in the snow for the first time and being able to have her with us on vacation was very important to us. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this stay, from cooking and eating together as a family to playing games that the host has left us access to.Looking forward to seeing if it is available the next time we make plans to come to town.Jim Philson

Woodland getaway

Beautiful, well-maintained cabin in quiet woodland neighborhood. Further from the lake than we had anticipated, but easy access by car or bike. Would most definitely return to this location.

Beautiful home near Shaver Lake! Great for families!

My family stayed at this home for a few days to get out of the valley heat and for a last minute end of summer vacation. The home is beautiful, very clean and well maintained, and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing trip. Sabrina was the most responsive property manager of any VRBO listing I’ve ever used, and replied almost immediately after receiving any communication from me. She also readily offered ideas of places to eat and things to do nearby. While there were only four of us, the home can easily accommodate larger families or groups. My family LOVED the arcade game and spent some time in the evenings battling it out on fun, old school games like Donkey Kong and Ms Pac-Man. The lake is just a few minutes away by car if you want to head to rent a boat or go to the beach, but it’s also easily walkable directly from the home. The home has WiFi, which made it easy to get some work done when necessary. There is a washer and dryer and stores nearby for groceries, so you won’t have to pack a ton to visit. The one tiny thing I would mention is that we were unaware the house wasn’t air conditioned (we didn’t think to ask) and it was pretty warm there last week, but it was much hotter everywhere else, so we appreciated the getaway nonetheless. Just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling there when it’s unseasonably warm. There was one portable fan upstairs that helped cool things down as needed. All said, Sabrina was such a joy to work with and we will definitely be back to visit her beautiful home in the future. Thank you!

Summer vacation

I cannot say enough great things about this property and our seamless experience. The house was amazing. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Everything was fully stocked throughout the house. Each floor has a room so our family still had space between each other. My son and his family with their 2 yr old stayed downstairs and it worked perfectly. The owner was super responsive and so easy to work with for every aspect of our stay. I’ve stayed in VRBO properties many times and this has been our best experience by far. The house is in a great location and also close to camp Edison marina and not a far drive from the Sierra marina. I recommend this property 100% and give it 5 stars.

Spectacular Property

Beautiful home in great location with a large stone patio, built-in firepit, very comfortable patio table and chairs for 4. Very comfortable beds, furniture and well stocked kitchen. Communication with property owner was great, everything was perfect!

Great Retreat Getaway!

The property was great! Very spacious and comfortable. All the amenities of home. Fully stocked with firewood. Loved the outdoor space with the built in fireplace. The owner responded within a matter of minutes. Thanks for the memories!

The PERFECT Cabin!!! 5 STARS . This is the ONE to RENT!!!!!

BEST CABIN that is really a house. So Beautiful and PERFECT. I recommend this property and rate it as FIRST CLASS. Our stay was not long enough. Once we arrived and never wanted to leave. The cabin is set up perfectly and is cozy and warm. The house decor is so nice. The beds are very comfortable. We slept like Angels high in the mountains. The fireplace was set up to start a fire and we kept it going the whole time. It really made the stay that much more enjoyable. Sabrina, the landloard, was so gracious to us. She made sure our stay was perfect. Thank you Sabrina, for letting us use your house on VRBO!!! We will stay again and again. Paul S.
