Snug, sweet spot

Well stocked, compact cottage. Close to the park and town but more importantly, walking distance to the beach. Beautiful!

Perfect getaway!

60 Steps was perfect for two people, super clean and Jill had literally everything you would need. Beautiful toiletries and essential kitchen staples. The place was so clean and peaceful, hot tub was an added bonus and literally steps away from the most beautiful beach.I would highly recommend this place!

What a spot. Across the street from Chesterman, you can leave the window open and night and hear the roar of the ocean. Totally private, beautifully appointed, and cozy and tidy. We loved it. Thank you!

Great Location

This place is a short walking distance to south Chesterman beach. It was perfect for surfing and exploring with the kids. The hot tub was enjoyable for those cold days and nights.

60 steps is as advertised ,exactly 60 steps to beach entrance. Great cozy cottage.Excellent location for beach lovers. Super clean and very well equipped. Absolutely loved it!

A Perfect Getaway

Great place to be

Extremely well equipped, very close to the beach, very nice hosts. We really would like to stay longer and would definitely try to book this house again, if we will have the chance to come back to Tofino! A happy place :-)))

Beautiful and convenient location. Cute cabin, well stocked kitchen, and luxury soaps. Less than a minute from the sand! Good communication with the host!

Perfect Beach Home

Absolutely perfect beach home. Very warm and cozy with everything you could want for your relaxing vacation! Private yard and hot tub area with a bbq too! Our host Jill is just so thoughtful with attention to details including whole bean delicious coffee. Chestermere Beach really is steps away which truly is HEAVEN!!!! I highly recommend 69 Steps as a perfect rental.

Location

It's all about location -- across the road and down to the beach, and a few minutes drive into Tofino. This is a well cared for place, but much too small for four people. Don't take any toddlers. The loft (not a bedroom) is far too dangerous for little ones. The beds are great and the David's Tea were great!

This is a well cared for and cozy private setting. Everything you need and more. The owner is very helpful and communicative, and obviously takes great effort to make everything as welcoming as possible. We will definitely be back, as we don't really want to leave. Thank you Jill !.

Super Chesterman Beach - 60 steps.

The cottage was excellent, very clean and well-organized. The second floor ceiling is a bit low for a 6'3" guy, but it is well marked with warning flags, and my shorter companion was kind and occupied that room. Hence no bruises. The cottage is only a very short distance from the beach and we lucked out on our second day with a big February storm (very big) and a great walk near the wild surf.; it was spectacular. The next day had clear skies and pristinely calm water; a great contrast. We certainly hope to return for another stay to this very hospitable stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at 60 Steps. The place was super clean and well stocked. The location is superb, being so close to the beach and only a quick drive into town. The grounds and hot tub were well cared-for and maintained. Jill was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. Highly recommend this place for a couple!

We stayed September 17-21, 2025. We absolutely loved our stay at 60 Steps! True to its name, it’s just 60 steps from the stunning Chesterman Beach, where we enjoyed daily happy hours—rain or shine. The place was super clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beach chairs were such a nice touch—we used them every day—and soaking in the hot tub after a full day of exploring was the perfect way to wind down. It’s the ideal spot for a relaxing beach escape. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful little rental property in a very special part of the world - and literally only 60 steps from the most amazing beachThe cabin itself is very well-appointed with everything you need to make it extremely comfortable. If you are planning on cooking, there’s a well stocked kitchen available. Nice clean linens and towels, super hot tub, nice big, clean barbecue, and literally everything you need!

It was one of the most spectacular places I had ever visited and I knew this was where I wanted to live my adult years. This property was chosen in order to create our own little piece of paradise.

Proximity to Chesterman Beach and outside the town centre. Beautiful location to live and thrive by the ocean. From the south end of Chesterman Beach, the beach is a mile long to the north end where you can rest with a leisurely cup of coffee at The Wickaninnish Inn before making your return journey. The sunsets are spectacular, particularly in the summer.
