A lovely sanctuary away from the busyness of life. The property was clean, beautiful and very comfortable and we were rewarded with a stunning dawn chorus each morning. The gardens are beautiful and Janet and Grant our hosts met our requests promptly and with generosity. I would thoroughly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful country retreat.

We spent a very comfortable and cosy getaway at Little Brook. The property is ideally located for visiting Rye, Hastings, Winchelsea and as keen gardeners, Great Dixter House & Gardens.

Lovely place to stay, very beautiful and peaceful. Idyllic countryside, even heard an owl at night. Didn't meet the owners or see the dogs so can't comment on that aspect.Bed was massive and comfy.The place had everything you could need for a comfortable break.We did download the 'what 3 words app' which found the words but then directed us to Waze or Google maps, but despite having phones open on each app we had difficulty finding the location as it was 4.30pm and getting dark. We obviously found it and got in after a few hiccups. The place was quite chilly when we arrived so we turned the heaters on which worked a treat.

Lovely country escape

A good base to explore East Sussex. A very spacious sitting room / bedroom with a separate kitchen & shower room. We enjoyed visiting Rye, Tenterden & Bodiam Castle.

A complete experience

Hospitality by the owners was great, the property was comfortable and spacious, nice decor and with all amenities. The location is very good, close to many attractions and places of interest. A very pleasant stay.

This property in such a beautiful and peaceful location! We had the best sleep It has everything you need in terms of comfort and the hosts were lovely, even leaving a yummy chocolate cake for us on arrival Rye town is a short drive away as is Bodiam Castle, both definitely worth a visit Will definitely go again

Relaxing stay

Beautiful gardens and orchard. Hosts friendly and great communication. Lovely old building sympathetically decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend for a tranquil break.
