Very nice spot. Lovely views, well appointed unit, had everything we needed. Really enjoyed getting my laps in the indoor pool and doing walks in the neighborhood. Only issue was we were without water for a couple hours when a water line in the neighborhood broke. We always enjoy our stays in Echota.

This condo surpassed my expectations! Photos were great but more beautiful in person. Views were breathtaking. Very clean and decorated beautifully. My dear friend and I celebrated both our birthdays here. Would definitely stay here again.

As Advertised

Place was clean, well decorated, everything functioned as described. We ate several meals cooked in the kitchen during our stay. Everything we need was there and saved a ton of money by not eating out. Area in the vicinity is picturesque and worth visiting. Community pool and hot tub were great. Views were incredible!!! Great stay and highly recommend staying here.

We were here for App State graduation. This was a great location nestled in the mountains but close to Boone and Blowing Rock. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Stunning view at Echota on the Ridge

Excellent communications with owner. Unfortunate that the fireplace did night work on our weekend mountain get away but Judy tried to make it right by compensating us which was kind. Since the fireplace hadnt worked for several weeks , I feel it should have been taken care of. The view is stunning from this unit and hot tube and indoor pool at main clubhouse are a plus. Thanks for letting us stay.

Beautiful view!

We had the best sister trip yet! The condo has an amazing view and is very comfortable and welcoming! Our host was very quick to answer my questions and provides a binder with things to do and restaurant recommendations. That was very helpful. Look forward to our next stay! Great stay!

My son called this condo “the treehouse” because of its view looking out. We really enjoyed our stay. It is nice to have not stairs to carry groceries up. Kitchen was very well appointed. Judy sent information well in advance and answered a quick call when I couldn’t figure out where the garbage dumpster was. We would definitely stay again.

Plan for fog

I booked this condo for my birthday weekend, mostly based on the views that were pictured from the balcony and pool area. We arrived Dec 15th, knowing that the outdoor pool was closed for the season. I was hoping the outdoor hottub would be open for the winter but it was not.

Older property than expected

Very out of date furnishings with bizarre accessories, old carpets and uncomfortable chairs. The bed seemed very small.

Beautiful condo..kitchen well equipped..beds super comfortable, as was living room furniture..view of mountains from balcony was gorgeous, with outdoor furniture to relax on. unfortunately, hurricane Helene shortened our visit but we hope to return and see the rest of the area! Owner was responsive to our weather problems.. we couldn’t ask for anymore!

Amazing condo

We are frequent visitors to the area and this a great place to stay. Judy was great throughout the check in process. Very responsive. Condo was clean, well stocked and on par of what we expect when staying at EOR. Thank you! We will be back!

Summer Mountain Escape

We live in a beach community and decided to head to the mountains for 4th of July week and escape the humidity. We were greeted with a 52 degree evening on the 2nd night and it was welcomed. We have stayed in Echota at least annually for the last 10 years and we thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was level with the parking lot and had a fantastic view looking back towards valle crucis. We had everything we needed, 2 different coffee pot styles, outdoor table for dining and all the little extras you may forget. It's close to everything, banner elk, boone, blowing rock, linville are all within a 10-15 min drive. We enjoyed the proximity to all and enjoyed the community as well. This unit is close to the outdoor pool which is a plus because we could walk. Overall, we loved it!

Get away to a cool view

My husband and I wanted a quick escape from the city and 95+ temps and the porch at this property called our names. From morning coffee with fog in the valleys to a glorious sunset, it was a nice place to relax .

This property is one of the best in EOR. We are on the middle floor of our building so, you walk right in. No steps to climb. Making it very easy to load/unload your car when you arrive. We love the Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk area. There's lots to do and great places to eat.

You will fall in love with our view. 60 mile range looking towards TN over Valle Crucis. It's a very quiet building with no one beside of us. I've had many renters describe it as "a little piece of heaven."
