Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota on the Ridge, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom downstairs (stair access only) condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace and amazing mountain views. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a nap…. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air while gazing at the mountains and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

We were in town for Parent's Weekend at Appalachian State University and wanted a place close to the school but not right in the middle of the college traffic. Wintergreen was a wonderful surprise, perfectly situated close to every place we wanted to visit yet private and secluded in a beautiful resort setting. It was impeccably clean and well outfitted beautifully, we felt instantly at home and will absolutely stay again!

Great mountain condo

Everything was just as advertised and pictured. Two kings beds were perfect for a couples weekend getaway. Ran out of time to utilize the clubhouse and amenities. Hope to come back soon.

Great post... missing she items

This is a wonderful place and most of our missing items were fixed. Internet not working..we rebooted and fixed. No trash bags..still waiting, ; condiments, had to go get salt and pepper. But overall a great stay!!!

Perfect for our family

This condo was perfect for our family getaway to the mountains! The layout was great and our kids enjoyed the toys and games the owners provided. The outdoor pool is close but due to the time of year wasn’t open. The indoor pool was a bit of a drive but manageable. We loved the proximity to multiple points of interest in the area and hikes/waterfalls. Will definitely try to return in the future!

Learning to ski

Took the family on a learning to ski weekend. The place was great! Very close to the slopes. Check in and check out was very simple. Will be staying here again.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. All the amenities we needed/wanted. The only downside was the fireplace didn’t work and the heat compressor was outside the master bedroom so it kept making noise throughout the night (which the rental co is going to check on). Other than those things, the condo and the community were very nice and it was a great, central location between Banner Elk and Boone.
