We enjoy escaping the midwest winters over holidays and breaks to get to the warm sunshine FL offers! Life gets crazy with the 9-5 demands so we like to try and stay "offline" as much as possible and enjoy the adventures of FL when we arrive. We are very active and adventurous. We are always wanting to find out more about our surroundings as there is so much Florida has to offer! And St Pete is really in the center of it all! With a few minutes to different beaches, only 1 hour 45 min to Disney, 35 min to Busch Gardens, a few hours to Fort Lauderdale, 30 minutes to Clearwater, minutes from downtown St Pete and Tampa, options are endless!

We went from a 2 bed/2 bath condo in Isla Del Sol (just a few miles away) to this home. We wanted more space for our friends and family to be able to enjoy should they choose to join us when we travel. So far it has been wonderful as both holidays they have accompanied us! A must have was a westward facing patio with pool so we could enjoy the sunsets poolside. We added landscaping and a new dock to really be able to take in all that the Florida sunsets have to offer! We love the open floor plan! We also love that time is irrelevant when we spend our days here. Truly paradise!

The marine wildlife is so unpredictable! The dolphins are so social, playful, and curious. Almost every time I am in the kayak (around 10 am and again around 5pm) they swim right up to you. They wave, flip under the water, and chase along next to you. Watch for them and steer the kayak their way! They go in and out of the canals and turn around once they get to Boca Ciega Bay. We have seen hundreds of yellow fin tuna, groups of sting rays, and so many birds. We have seen the Bald Eagle fly over head around noon by the pool many days. If you watch for the wildlife, I hope you too will be amazed! Manatees have been spotted through the canals as well. The home offers so much natural light that we installed brand new plantation shutters which add an element of privacy without taking away the views! The bamboo laminate floor throughout the house, porcelain tile floor, hurricane sliding glass doors, marble countertops, double vanities in the bathrooms and large walk in shower with double shower heads make for a glamorous feel! It was an easy decision to purchase this house out of all the others we compared to it!
