We love staying here! The home is well maintained, beautifully cleaned, well stocked, and dog & family friendly. The owner is very conscientious and responsive, always trying to do everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and the home has a view of Mt. Tallac. We’ve already booked two visits for 2027!

Host was very responsive. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking 🥘 anything & everything with a nice diningtable for 6. Two wonderful decks for both morning & afternoon sun . Lots of games to select from. Good seating in living room for TV. Close to Emerald Bay & Heavenly . Easy access via Pioneer Trail road vs Hwy 50 traffic.

We had a wonderful stay at this South Lake Tahoe property. The home was incredibly homey, with thoughtful touches throughout — soft towels, and a kitchen stocked with every utensil you could possibly need to cook a real meal. It made the place feel like a true home away from home rather than just a rental. The location was ideal: close enough to hiking trails to head out for a morning hike or bike ride, but still just a short drive from great restaurants. We also loved the neighborhood, and our dogs were especially happy being so close to the Upper Truckee River.Frank, the host, was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We'd happily book this place again and would recommend it to anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe, especially those traveling with dogs!
