Clean and comfortable, though a little cramped. The stairs to the loft are a little suspicious. It was a great surprise to see the records. The occupancy restrictions were a little confusing (three beds, six seats at the table, but no more than two people allowed?). Overall it was a pleasant stay with no issues, even if it was a little bit pricey for what you get.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and that you felt Kulhaus Cabin was super cute and cozy! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location near downtown markets, shops, and casinos.  That said, we are truly sorry to learn about the blood stain on the duvet cover. That is absolutely not the standard of cleanliness we strive for, and we completely understand why you chose not to use the comforter. Please know that we have addressed this with our housekeeping team to ensure linens are thoroughly inspected between guests.  A note for future guests: If any issue arises before or during your stay, whether it's cleanliness, maintenance, or anything else, please reach out to our Guest Relations team right away. We truly appreciate the opportunity to resolve issues in real time so you can get back to enjoying beautiful South Lake Tahoe.  You can contact our Guest Relations team daily from 9am–6pm Pacific time via VRBO message, phone, email, or text. For after-hours emergencies, our 24/7 support team is available through our main company line.  Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to host you for your next Tahoe getaway!

Lake Tahoe Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Kulhaus. The home is lovely, comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. The location is wonderful - very peaceful. The home has very private, lovely outdoor space but chilly weather kept us from utilizing it. To note, the bedroom is a little small for storing two suitcases but still comfortable. A really great place.

Great place to chill and even get some work done in peace

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Process to reserve was “minutes” and easy. Used the same organization before - sometimes made reservations via couple texts...Place is in a very quiet part of SLT, surrounded by amazing mature trees so it doesn’t feel like one has any neighbours. I liked that all needed info and more was all on the chalkboard in the kitchen so no looking at small print notes :)

Great getaway in South Lake Tahoe!

We had a wonderful stay in Lake Tahoe! The cabin was everything we wanted it to be. It was cozy, charming, and very close to town. Our only issue was the noise of the heater going on and off in the middle of the night. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

Fantastic winter getaway

Great cabin for a smaller family 1-2 children. Heavy snow over the weekend but snow removal team was on top of it for the driveway. Very modern kitchen suited to the coffee lover. Staff was very responsive to a request for an additional day due to stormy conditions. Will definitely be back!
