Very good place - just missing Wifi (poor coverage in Val Tho) otherwise does it all. Ski shop and mini market in the same building. Genuine ski-in Ski-out.

Good and bad points. Great location right on the slopes and excellent ski in and ski out and close to village. The bed was comfy and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. Cosy sofas and decent storage. A typical size of appartment we expect in the alps and the appartment itself was clean (except one pan). Bad points - the building communal areas are run down, dirty, dated and like bad student accommodation. The noise each night from other rooms felt like student residence with drinking games audible every night - bring ear plugs. The appartment has no free WiFi and the website to purchase (15) did not work despite putting card details in twice! The appartment also does not have Netflix or smart TV so I’d recommend to bring downloaded films on own device.

Great get away Cabin

This cabin did not disappoint! It was better than described. We loved the solitude, no cell or internet made our stay relaxing and stress free. A bonus was the local brewery…it was fabulous!

Easter break

We stayed for Easter. The apartment was clean and just the right size for the four of us. The beds were comfortable and the facilities great. There was some noise at night from people passing in the corridor, but it became quiet after 2300 hrs, so did not disturb our sleep.

Good value apartment but terrible neighbours if you have young kids

The apartment is accurately represented in the pictures and was very good value for money for the price we paid. It is also a great location on the pistes, being right on the main run through town, opposite a magic carpet if you need to get up the hill for lessons and a short run down to a number of lifts heading in both directions across the 3 valleys. You can ski right back to the door as well which isn't true of a lot a properties in VT. I would be giving this place a 5 star review if it weren't for the fact that the Residence de Temples Soleil appears to be the accommodation favoured by multiple Student ski trips turning the entire block into a giant university halls of accommodation. Every night the corridors around our apartment became party central. Complaints to management were basically useless as the noise was never attached to one room as it moved through the hallways. It tended to subside by 11ish but that is 2 hours after my daughter was trying to sleep. It became intimidating at times as people were also hammering on our door occasionally as they walked past swearing loudly. If you are the kind of skiers who wouldn't be getting back to your apartment until late then none of this would be a problem, but if you wanted an early night as a young family then it is a problem.

Dirty, Noisy & Ill Equipped Apartment

Very disappointed with this apartment and building. Firstly, to collect the keys you have to go the other side of town, you don't get shown around the apartment, no hand over process just given a set of keys with no paperwork. When checking-in I notice that the dishes and cooking equipment is still dirty, the apartment was unclean and disorganised so before we can cook we have to clean. Had to sweep the floor, crumbs etc still all over the floor. The hob in the kitchen doesn't have any markings, so when you want to boil anything you don't know which hob is hot or working, very old and needs replacing. The apartment is in a building complex which is very run down, very loud during the night and has lifts to get you to the floor which the apartment in on which were breaking down a number of times during the two weeks we were staying so we had to use the stairs. I also received a phone call from the office after the first week asking why we hadn't returned the keys and I had to explain we were here for two weeks, so the lack of communication between the office and owners is very poor. The balcony was a good space for storing our skiing equipment and the lounge area was a good size for four adult. Overall, very disappointed with the apartment and very overpriced for what you get.

A somewhat disappointing Christmas

The renovation of the apartment is pleasant, with new fittings and furniture throughout. Within the building there is a small supermarket and a pizzeria which was useful. The mountain cabin with bunk bends also has a door separating it from the remainder of the apartment, which is useful. The shower is excellent. The key collection and drop off was very problematic, as it is at the opposite end of the town, at the top of the hill. They tried to charge us 1 euro for not printing a sheet to show our reservation - which we were easily able to show on our phones. They were not very helpful. It was difficult to return the key and clear the apartment by 10am due to the location of the key drop hundreds of metres from the block. Unfortunately the owner forgot to book for the apartment to be cleaned before our stay so it was in a disgusting condition when we arrived. This is done with a separate company to the key collection, which meant there was very little we could do except call the owner who was abroad (on Christmas Eve). He was able to organise a small clean, which was fine however I was required to complete in full. He offered us a small refund because of this. The condition of the building as a whole however is another matter. There are a number of smashed doors and windows throughout, and one smashed bench for the whole building of hundreds of apartments to use to put on their ski boots. You could be waiting a long time for one of the lifts to access the slopes as there are just 4 between the whole very large complex. The ski locker room is very poorly lit - bring a torch! As there is no key code for entry to the building, anyone can enter and leave when they please. Because of this, we were woken up most nights by drunk people screaming in the corridor outside, including pushing the doorbell to the apartment.

Het contact met de eigenaar is vriendelijk en makkelijk! Appartement ligt direct aan de piste en supermarkt en verhuur onder in het gebouw! Gebouw is verouderd, maar appartement is comfortabel en voorzien van veel praktische zaken zoals veel plankjes, jassen haakjes etc. Wij waren met twee volwassene en drie kinderen en vonden het erg aangenaam! Vooral de twee grote banken vonden de kids heerlijk!

Séjour à Val Thorens

L appartement est sympa et bien placé. Par contre, il n était pas très propre qd ns sommes arrivés. La résidence est très bruyante, bcp de jeunes qui rentrent à toute heure de la nuit en faisant bcp de bruit. Je déconseille pour une famille

Sejour d'une semaine dans cette station extraordinaire ou la neige est toujours au rendez-vous même à cette période. L'appartement est très sympa, chaleureux et fonctionnel. La chambre séparée est un vrai plus et la literie est bonne. Nous y avons séjourné en famille sans trop se marcher les uns sur les autres. Appart bien décoré , bien équipé avec bcp de rangement . Confortable pour une famille de 4 , au pied des pistes. Merci pour le,cadeau de bienvenue 😁 . Par contre le bémol de ce logement est sa localisation dans une résidence aux communs vétustes , très bruyante au moment où nous y étions , avec pour voisins des groupes de jeunes très bruyants. L’appart est très bien mais malheureusement notre séjour un peu entaché par le bruit.

Gemütliches Appartment

Die Anreise und Schlüsselübergabe waren sehr unkompliziert. Zur Begrüßung stand auf dem Tisch ein kleiner Präsentkorb mit leckeren, regionalen Spezialitäten, der den ersten Abend entspannt beginnen ließ. Herzlichen Dank dafür. Das Apartment ist charmant und gemütlich und ist, obwohl es klein ist, ausreichend für vier Personen. Es ist auch in der Küche mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht und bietet Dank geschickt eingebauter Regale und Schubladen unter dem Sofa genügend Stauraum für alle Sachen. Das Haus liegt direkt an der Piste, so kommt man schnell ins Skigebiet. Wenn man im nahe liegenden Parkhaus P2 parken möchte, so muss man dieses mindestens sieben Tage vorab online reservieren. Ansonsten finden man weiter unten noch größere Parkplätze, die mit dem Bus auch unproblematisch zu erreichen sind. Loic ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der alle Fragen schnell beantwortet.Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und bedauern, dass das Skigebiet so weit von unserem Wohnort entfernt ist.

Appartement charmant mais très bruyant avec une accessibilité déplorable

L’appartement est mignon et bien agencé et les propriétaires charmants et réactifs. Par contre, les points négatifs sont : Extrêmement bruyant après 23h (exclusivement dû à l’excès d’alcool des autres locataires / prévoir les boules quies). L’accessibilité déplorable (difficile voire impossible de se garer pour décharger), un nombre incalculable de couloir avant d’accéder à l’appart et surtout 1h20 d’attente (40 personnes) devant l’agence (extérieur) par une température de -21° pour récupérer les clés (l’agence est minuscule avec 2 salariés et un créneau horaire restreint et en plus panneau indiquant 1 personne à la fois). Le propriétaire devrait changer de prestataire. Sur la porte de l’appart il y a une boîte à clés qui simplifierait l’arrivée. Malheureusement à cause de tout cela nous ne renouvellerons pas cette expérience malgré le confort de la location. Dommage

Bel appartement mais accessible difficilement

Petit appartement tout confort avec balcon bien exposé et pieds des pistes. Seul bémol l accessibilité au logement qui se fait par un dédale de couloirs ascenseur escaliers et portes. Un peu bruyant.

Nous avons passé 15 jours dans cet appartement très agréable, parfaitement situé au pied des pistes et proche des commerces et restaurants. Il est bien équipé, avec une décoration soignée, conforme à la description et aux photos. Le propriétaire est disponible, et réactif. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Functional, but not recommendable

On the plus side: good location next to the slopes, with everything you need close by. The beds were more comfortable than average, and some effort is done to decorate the place nicely. Appartement itself is part of an old Pierre & Vacances building with all it's flaws. Paperthin walls mean that you can hear everything, including the partying students, all night long. The apartment was not clean and not well maintained. WiFi is to be paid extra.

Appartement très bien situé au pied des pistes, meublé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût dans le style chalet. Le propriétaire est joignable à tout moment pour communiquer d’eventuelles précisions. Je recommande vivement.

Excellent ski in ski out with views of the piste

Great accommodation on the pistes in the excellent ski resort of Val Thorens - ski in and out from ski locker room on ground floor. Supermarket on site was very convenient, and good range of eating places a short walk away Creative use of space made this well furnished apartment feel larger than it was and comfortable for four adults (except for the kitchen area) and we enjoyed our stay. Only shame was noisy neighbours (Easter week so school and uni trips were late in - manageable but a bit if a niggle) and the poor WiFi (we paid for the Pierre and vacancy WiFi but as there is no modem in the room the coverage is patchy). People watching on the piste whilst having breakfast / apres ski was an added bonus!!!

Lovely little apartment

We loved this apartment. Although small it is so well planned and the space is well used with lots of storage. It is perfectly located for door to door skiing with comfortable beds and lots of hot water. We were 4 adults and we were very comfortable. We cooked dinner every evening and found the kitchen to be very well equipped.
