Tons of space and ocean views

Spent spring break in HHI for the first time and had a blast. Unit is huge with 4 BR and 4 bath. Worked well for our family of teenagers. Ocean views were great especially at sunrise, and listening to the waves from bed was even better. We golfed, played pickleball and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. 5 star, would recommend.

Awesome Ocean view

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this condo for Thanksgiving week. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials needed to make thanksgiving dinner. The property manager was very responsive to some minor issues with the TV/ wi-fi. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable week at the beach. We loved drinking our coffee on the balcony every morning looking at the ocean.

We didn't want to leave

The stay was amazing. The condo was very clean. The view in the morning was breathtaking. The path to the beach was about a minute walk. I would recommend this property anytime. My only con was that the first room on the left when you walk in was very hot. They had a fan in the room but it did not help once yoi closed the bedroom door. We did not have any of the windows opened. The peson in that room just ended up sleeping with the door open.

Potential for greatness but overall average

Our stay was enjoyable because our family tends to make the most out of every vacation no matter what works and what doesn’t. We had two issues right off the bat that needed to be fixed. First was the garbage disposal. It was leaking upon our arrival. Seeing a bowl placed underneath it, made us think someone previously knew about this. I don’t hold the property directly responsible but it would have been nice if whomever discovered this would have notified the proper people. A new disposal was installed on Sunday. The second issue was a toilet in one of the bathrooms. It didn’t flush properly. We needed to call the property managers twice as they said it was fixed the first time but wasn’t. Even after the second try it was average at best. That brings me to our overall feel of the rental property. With the lack if inventory, we were limited in our choices of rentals, hence we paid more then we felt this property was worth. The interior is dated with things like the ceiling fans making noise and a coffee pot burner being rusted was disappointing. The kitchen was partially equipped as we still needed a few items to make our cooking experience easier. The dryer hose might need to be cleaned out as clothes took longer then expected to dry. Little things like this were somewhat annoying. The proximity to the beach and the overall building is very nice. We have stayed at a few places in Palmetto Dunes so we typically enjoy the area. Of the three condos we have stayed in through the years, this was our least favorite. Again, perhaps if the price were cheaper, we wouldn’t feel this way. We just assumed everything was going to be perfect because of paying at the higher end for a four bedrooms property. The view was terrific and the bed was very comfortable. One last concern. Not that our goal was to watch TV but when were were looking to unwind after long, hot day, seating for 8 was a challenge and the TV was smaller then we would have hoped.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. As the owners we strive for guests to have a comfortable experience. We have since changed the dryer to a new high efficiency unit. We have also added to the kitchen inventory including upgrading the coffee maker and adding a Keurig. We know that a larger tv would be nice, but we hesitate in blocking the beautiful view! We hope to have you stay with us again soon.
