Just right

I had walked past Praa Sands when doing the SW Coast Path and resolved to bring family for a weeks break. That beach is perfect for a 4 year old. There is plenty to do in the area, even if the weather doesn’t play ball. A very relaxing break.

Fabulous penthouse apartment

This beautiful penthouse apartment ticked all the boxes for our family holiday to Praa Sands. With spectacular sea views, it was comfortably appointed and generously provisioned with a breakfast hamper and a collection of local goodies on arrival. The attention to detail was second to none, and it felt like a home away from home for our two-week stay. A great base to explore western Cornwall and only a short drive to the remarkable St Michaels Mount. We hope to be back.

Family week in Cornwall

Just got back from a lovely week at this property. Communication before hand was great and cleanliness on arrival was excellent. The penthouse was a great size, larger than we thought from the photos. Quiet location, but within easy reach of any facilities you may need within about 15 minutes drive. 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Praa Sands. Also within easy reach of lots of places to visit, The Minack Theatre being one of our highlights. Gorgeous views from the penthouse, lovely to just sit and watch.

Fabulous

This was a birthday present and what a gift it was. The well turned out immaculate penthouse exceeded all expectations and the whole stay was amazing from start to finish. Everything we needed was taken care of and we felt the whole experience was fabulous. It even provided a spectacular view of the storm we had for two days where we could just sit and watch it develop over the sea. Good base for local walks and venturing on to the Lizard and over to St Ives. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

the property is fully equipped. The internet was a nightmare from day 1. we had to wait for the BT engineer on 2 occasions to let them in to the property to get it sorted. we arrived on the Sunday and it was eventually fixed on the Thursday.

Having had a family holiday home in Marazion, Georgina has longed for a property in this area. From the first viewing, Clipper Cove was an ideal property. This is our second holiday property and with Georgina's many years experience with interior decoration our large house in the South of France was featured in "25 Beautiful Homes" magazine, appearing on the cover of the May, 2014 issue. We saw the Penthouse and thought the position (right by the sea) was fabulous, when we viewed it we knew that this apartment would give guests the most wonderful holiday. The views are so special and the beach is just outside the door across the green. I love Praa Sands because it is unspoiled and quiet, you can be the only person on the beach on a stunningly sunny day in spring, and what a tonic that is! Peace and quiet. Praa Sands is easy to get to by train or road and Newquay Airport is only 45 minutes away by car. I am so proud to be able to offer first class accommodation in our lovely part the world, and the thank you emails and letters I have received confirm I made the right choice.

The great thing about Praa Sands, is it is easy to visit some of the most fabulous venues. St Michaels Mount and Marazion (wild bird sanctuary) St Ives, Porthleven, Minack Theatre, Lands End, Falmouth are all close by.
Praa Sands Golf Club is walking distance, and the Cornish coastal footpath is on the doorstep. We are surrounded by National Trust Gardens and properties, the latest acquisition Godolphine House, being 10 minutes away by car. I must mention the weather, somehow we seem to get the best of it at Praa Sands, the Penthouse is sheltered in most wind directions and sitting looking out through the Juliet balcony doors on most days feels really warm, a true suntrap, lovely. Also we benefit from the underfloor geothermal heating which keeps the Penthouse toasty in the winter.
