It's small but very comfortable and very cute, nicely decorated. Nice outdoor area. Huntington State Park pass included was a very nice perk! We used it many times to go to the beach.

Shug and Mac were very friendly, generous and quick to respond when we needed something. There are two very nice patio areas for guests to relax on. We also really appreciated the Huntington Beach State Park pass, using it a number of times. Parking was easy and safe.

This was such a quaint, inviting beach home. We loved how close it was to the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. We'd definitely stay there again.

We found Shugs Shack to be very clean, comfortable, and inviting. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed Shugs Shack and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Definitely a five star accommodation!!

Perfect location for the Brookgreen Gardens Festival of a thousand candles.While bedding was so comfy, there was no amenities for the shower which was disappointing for the price point of the stay. Luckily a quick stop at a nearby grocery store provided the requisite shampoo and soap.The Keurig was an added bonus as it was a newer extremely fast model. The layout was perfect with the sitting room totally separate from the bedroom!

Sorry for the inconvenience. There was shampoo under the sink for you to use. Also you could have reached out to us. We let you check in early and you also didn’t pay the pet fee of $100. Your rating does not reflect the experience if shampoo was your only concern considering you were able to bring 2 large dogs for no extra cost.

This is not the entire home, as the listing says. This is 1/4 of the home. The owner and her creepy adult son stay upstairs, where you can hear every footstep and word they say. You will get zero privacy. You don’t get the big fenced-in yard. You get a tiny, gated off portion in which the owners use whenever they come or go, leaving your pets vulnerable to escape or being attacked by their dogs. You get a bed and bath in some lady’s basement. We expressed our disappointment and asked how we could be compensated in a message. The son came downstairs and using swear words, made fun of us for thinking we had gotten an entire home (which is what this is listed as) for the price that we did. We were there for maybe 45 minutes. He then asked us to leave in a “timely manner”, and only refunded part of our price paid. You will not be safe here. Don’t risk your life, or waste your money going here.

This listing is two rooms downstairs as indicated in the description listed in the VRBO website. We refunded all the money we had access to. It was recommended to the guest to contact VRBO to try to recover their remanding funds that was held.

Very nice property. Close to many restaurants, shopping and more. Definitely recommend this property for couples! Owner was very nice and checked in a couple of times to see if we needed anything. Her dogs made our trip even better!!

The unit was very clean. Clean Towels provided; clean linens on the bed. Coffee and filtered water provided. Just some things to know before you rent here: To get to the parking for this unit, you need to go to the next 'driveway/street' and turn left. Bed is 39" off the floor!

Wonderful!! We so enjoyed our stay with Shug! We felt so welcome and comfortable here, the place is very cutely decorated, clean and spacious, it’s exactly as described. Covered patio was perfect for our dog, and the fenced in yard was great so he could be off leash! Great location. The bed is SO comfortable. We can’t wait to return!
