Loved the property!

Shared with a group of friends, enough room to feel like you can relax and enjoy each other company after a long day of riding. Highly recommend! Host was responsive and it had everything we needed.

Very nice. Our second year here. Just as great as the first year! Love the location, lots to do in this area. Enjoyed it very much! Just as well taken care of as last time. Highly recommend this place!

Weekend bike trip

Perfect place for 2-4 people. Great location for access to bike trails! Great bike storage, and wonderful place! We would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving Visit

This is such a great property! So clean and well kept. It had everything that we needed. Came up to visit family for the holiday with our 15 month old son. It was a wonderful place for all of us to stay. So cozy and comfortable for everyone! We will definitely look to stay here again whenever we come into town!

Family bike weekend

The location is spot on for those in town to enjoy Cuyuna State Park trails. There was safe storage for mountain bikes onsite too. Comfortable, clean and central location.

Great location close to mountain bike trails

We’ve Stayed here the past few years each fall coming up to ride the mountain bike trails! It’s a great location close enough to the trails to run in for lunch. There are also restaurants within walking distance which is nice! The owner is very timely in response to messages and questions!

Great biking weekend

Property is well maintained and clean with new carpet and comfortable beds! Well stocked kitchen with needed supplies. Secured indoor storage for bikes was a great addition!! Great location to trail head being only minutes away!!

Convenient, clean, and large!

Stayed while my son was at Heartland Hockey Camp, and it worked perfectly for us. It is a very large 2BR unit that is only a short drive from camp, and 2 minutes from downtown Crosby. Owner/manager was very nice and helpful.

My brothers and I were in the area for races in Brainerd. House worked great for what we needed. House was clean and well equipped. Nothing super fancy, but certainly a nice property. I would recommend this house.

Great Family Fun!

We stayed here for a family vacation with young children. The main room was spacious enough to have separate play areas. The carpet was super clean and our baby LOVED rolling around like crazy on it. There were USB bricks and universal charging cables provided. Wi-Fi worked great. There was plenty of counter space for cleaning bottles and breast pump parts. The were rags provided for bike cleaning and a safe place to store bikes. There were multiple amazing playgrounds within walking distance and plenty of fun shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. The host warned us about possible bike trail closures and was easy to communicate with. My only regret is not staying longer!

Perfect distance from the bike trails

Nothing fancy but has everything you’ll need to stay to ride the bike trails. Plenty of storage with the downstairs storage locker. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

Great house! Bigger than photos suggest! Owner was very helpful/quick when we couldn’t figure out the tv remote! Beds are comfy. Bathroom is good size for 4 adults. Kitchen table great for cards and has leaves if you want to have folks over to eat. We had a lovely visit for nephews wedding at Red Rider Resort.

Sufficient for our needs

For some context, please know that I am a person that pays attention to detail and I am pretty sensitive to odor. The location relative to the things we wanted to do was great. The property description is very near to the narrative. My family stay was very good and this property did what we needed it to do. Some of the amenity specifics in the check-in email are slightly different to the communication at the property, but nothing obstructive. The two (only) problems we had were (1) the inside temperature and (2) the smell of the rooms. The small window air conditioner needs to be checked and its filter cleaned. It could not keep up with cooling needs if the windows are closed. If one decides to open the windows (for the cool nights), the next issue is how very loud this small part of town is. The property is half a block from a heavily used road and the vehicles on it are not quiet and surprisingly consistent throughout the night (we were there on a Sunday and Monday night). I don't quite understand why there were so many motorcycles. Perhaps just our bad luck. The other problem was that the rooms had a smell reminiscent of either body odor or the result of a former smoker. While it is clear that the property is meant to be non-smoking, the smoke smell may be from the attached neighbors or perhaps from a previous tenant. The neighbors are quiet and friendly, so that was great. Overall, the property appeared clean and we had a good time, just not 5 star. Thank you for the stay.

Perfect

We stayed here while our son attended a hockey camp in Deerwood and it worked perfectly for the 4 of us. It was only a 10 min drive to drop him off and bring him dinner. We also drove into Brainerd and Baxter almost daily. There wasn't really any hand soap available but we just picked some up. I'm sure had we worried enough to contact Katie she would have gotten some to us anyway. We will absolutely stay again if our son goes back to camp! It was cozy but plenty big for the 4 of us. Not to mention having a kitchen and laundry available. The price was even better than staying at a hotel which would not have been nearly as nice and comfortable. 5 stars hands down!

Katie has been a property owner for over 10 years and also works as a trauma nurse serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Her husband Eric has provided over 18 years in the Sheriffs office as a Crow Wing County Deputy. They live in the Brainerd area are available by the guest if needed.
