Cozy 2-bedroom log cabin near Cuyuna recreation area

Welcome to our newly built log cabin that sits on over an acre of land overlooking the Mississippi River. Located near the Cuyuna recreation area, it's sure to be your go-to for year-round comfort as you enjoy the local entertainment and sport.

THE CABIN:
When you enter the cabin, you'll notice thoughtfully designed finishes at every turn. The front door opens into the eat-in kitchen dining area featuring ample natural light and comfortable bench seating. This space offers a Roku TV and plenty of board games for your entertainment.

While in the kitchen, you won't miss any creature comforts from home. Our custom kitchen offers all of the appliances you're accustomed to using - refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker. We've provided pots and pans, silverware, cutlery, dishes, glassware, as well as Keurig coffee pods and single use coffee creamers to make your stay comfortable.

Next to the kitchen is the main floor bedroom which offers a comfortable queen-sized bed, Roku TV, and a closet with luggage racks and plenty of room to hang your clothes.

On your left is the full bathroom, featuring a large, lighted make-up mirror, a vanity that houses a hair dryer, and a beautifully tiled walk-in shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience. Bath towels, hand towels, and face cloths have been provided for your stay as well.

As you head upstairs to the lofted living space, you'll be greeted by natural light and a larger open area for relaxing and unwinding after a day of fun at the Cuyuna recreation area. This space also offers a Roku TV.

In addition to the living area, the upper level has a larger bedroom with a queen bed, closet with luggage racks, and Roku TV.

In the basement you'll find another living space, which will soon be available for comfortable movie nights. Our onsite laundry is also in the basement level.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE:
There is a small dinette set on the patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap. Our outdoor space offers a fire pit and a converted shipping container to store all of your water and land toys. Within the shipping container, you'll find basic bike tools to get you ready for the miles of single track and paved trails offered at Cuyuna. The outdoor living space has more amenities to come in 2027!

Guests have access to the full property, including a Mississippi River overlook just a short walk from the front door.

UTILITIES:
It should be noted that this cabin runs on a septic system and has well water. They are extremely clean and safe, but require a bit more mindfulness than standard city utilities.
-Septic: Please only flush toilet paper and natural waste in the toilet, and use the provided trash receptacle for all other items including flushable wipes and feminine hygiene products. Additionally, we do not have a garbage disposal. Please use the provided drain catcher and remove all food scraps before washing items in the sink.
-Well: Our water comes from a private well. We have provided a filtered water tap on the kitchen sink for you. It is perfectly safe to drink, though at times it may have a slight mineral or sulfur aroma due to the natural local geology.
