Beautiful week at a beautiful place.

My wife and I decided to stay at Hilton Head for our 28th anniversary. There were so many things to do on the island, we only left once for a trip to nearby Edisto Island. There is a restaurant for anything you care to eat, and tons of great shopping. Being only a short walk, less than a 100 yards, to the beach was great. We saw a lot of wildlife on the property, including a small herd of deer that appeared every morning and evening below our balcony. The beach was never crowded, and the surf was mild, great for young children. It was by far the best vacation I have had.

Beautiful view of ocean!

This condo has a beautiful view of the ocean and is a short walk through the dunes! If beach is what you’re looking for this is your perfect spot. As others have stated, it needs a little TLC and hopefully they will do it in the very near future. Important suggestion: pull very hard outward on the master bathroom shower faucet. We did not pull hard enough and had to call maintenance only to be embarrassed, when we found out we just hadn’t pulled hard enough!

Great location and facility but this unit needs major updates.

We have stayed at this unit multiple times now. It’s a great location with a wonderful view, pool, and beach access. However, inside this unit is very outdated. The paint is chipping l, wallpaper peeling off the walls. Had 3 lightbulbs burnt out. The couch had a piece broken hanging off the front with wood exposed. I had to go to a hardware to fix in fear my son would get hurt or break it more. The blinds are missing so many slats we had to drape a blanket over the side glass of the front door so people can look in. Ultimately we were able to enjoy our week with these issues but it is still not to find when you look forward to vacation so much. I will say we sent these concerns to vacasa and they were willing to come out and fix some of the issues within a day or so of contacting them. Again, we were still able to enjoy this unit and facility, but people should be aware of what they are getting before they check in.

Condo needs complete updating

Rugs were very worn and dirty in many places. Carpets need a good cleaning. Showers showed signs of rust or mildew around the bottoms of the showers.

Great location, gorgeous view!

We enjoyed the view of the ocean, the calming feel of the condo, and walking distance to the tennis and pickleball center. Windsor Court is a beautiful and very clean property. Make sure you read all instructions ahead of time carefully - and doublecheck that all the info is correct (we had some confusing discrepancies). We also had difficulty getting Vacasa to contact the property manager - it took us 5 days to get someone to help us with the master bathroom shower.

What a View,BUT!

THE VIEW AND LOCATION were amazing. After a long trip we were looking forward to "ah" instead the unit was very dirty (housekeeping had to come to clean before we could unpack), large sections of wallpaper pealing off the walls, cabinets de-laminating, the bed was decades old and lumpy. We cook in and the kitchen had no food storage containers, no matching set of dishes, the toilet ran off and on all night and the carpet was so dirty we could have planted tomatoes!!! The vertical shades were broken and several slates thrown in the closet on the floor. The cable TV was not working and the picture quality was very poor ( old Roku TV) We were promised to be compensated for the inconvenience but they have not followed through with their promise. We have used Vacasa over a number of years but have decided to use another service going forward.

I desperate need of refurbishing run down and dreary, Won't be back

It got 2 stars for the location, otherwise it would have been 1 star. The rugs are run down and dirty. The paint is peeling in the bathroom, one of the fluorescent lights in the bathroom flashes sometimes and is out if it is not flashing. Walls are scuffed up. Kitchen is in need of dishes , large bowls, scissors, and a dust pan. The table on the balcony you'd need a tetanus shot to sit at because it is very rusted out and is leaving rusted chips all over the balcony, The door to the balcony is very difficult to open & close. The overall feeling of the condo is dirty. Won't be back.

Nice condo with a great view of the ocean and the pool. Carpet was stained which is probably why others thought it was dirty. Could maybe use updated/more comfortable patio furniture. Would stay here again.

Beautiful view of the ocean

The condo could use a update. The sliding door was hard to slide. Two hands and muscle got the door open and close. The shower drain in the front bathroom ran very slow. Other than that everything was wonderful, we for sure would like to return in the future.

Lovely Condo

The condo was nicely decorated, with comfortable furniture and (most important) a comfortable bed. We loved the view from the balcony of the pool area, the beach and the ocean. Palmetto Dunes is a great area for enjoying the beach and getting to great restaurants. We would definitely go back!

Little slice of Paradise

Top floor condo. no noise from above. nicely furnished, very comfortable. Great view of the pool , Beach, and Ocean. Can see the big ships heading to the port of Savannah nicely from the 5th floor.

Needs work

The view was great,but this unit needs work. There was a hole in the master bedroom bathroom. The vanity was peeling on the side and the toilet would run,the other bathroom had wallpaper peeling.The dishwasher needs replaced. Caulking around the dishwasher looks terrible.The kitchen cabinets did not always close and renters could use more dishes.The living room and dining room were great.could use new carpet.

Nice home, great view, a little dated

The view is great, we love staying at Windsor Court as the pool and beach access are so convenient. It is also not overly crowded. This condo was nice, but some things were showing wear or were a bit dated. Kitchen supplies were okay, dishes were pretty minimal. Microwave and fridge worked great; dishwasher was so-so, oven/stove works but is older/dated. I had a problem with the toaster and some outlets and Vacasa sent someone out the same day to replace and fix--great customer service! Overall a nice experience, but I think having more updated dishes and decor would help make this place feel a little more luxurious.

Great place…..but,

Carpets are FILTHY! Needs cleaned badly! Kids feet were black on bottoms from walking barefoot in the room. Have seen previous posts stating same thing. Toilet in master bath has a leak and is always running. Tank lid doesn’t not fit the toilet, like it belongs on a different model toilet….wrong shape even, weird. Dishwasher functions, but the soap dispenser inside doesn’t open, so you gotta just throw the pod inside. Dishwasher door doesn’t close easily, there is a trick to do it. Other than that, the place is great. Pool is nice size (could be cleaned a little more frequently), the walk to the beach is super short, which is perfect. People there were all friendly!!! Would stay again even with the complaints.

Enjoyed our stay

We've been coming to HH for years and this was the second year for our family staying at Windsor Court. We love the Palmetto Dunes area and the access to the beach is great. With my 2 kids, we normally prefer a 2 bedroom unit but the availability was low this year through the summer, so we went with this 1 bedroom unit. It worked fine with the couch pull out bed and we had a great time. One thing I will say that was kind of a hassle, last year the management team sent us the parking passes in the mail and we were able to go right to the unit. This year, we had to actually physically go the the management office first, wait in line, and then pick up the passes. It's not really that far out of the way, but's still another stop you have to make when all we wanted to do was get to the unit after a long drive in. I'd suggest giving the tenents an option if they want to pick up the parking passes or have them mailed and it would solve this issue. Overall satisfied with the unit and the stay and we would rent from this company again. Thanks for taking my feedback.
