Experience lakeside bliss at "Pure Contentment"! Our waterfront home features a private deep-water dock perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. Relax in the hammock on the upper deck, gather around the firepit, or enjoy games including pickleball, ping pong, foosball and shuffleboard! The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze. Pet-friendly haven with everything you need for an unforgettable lake getaway - from kayaks to board games! There is never a boring day here with a movie theater!

Easy Waterfront Access!!
Drive, walk, or take a golf cart straight to the private dock! Waterside parking (marked by a blue sign) makes loading coolers and water gear quick and easy—ideal for guests with limited mobility. Local golf cart rentals are available with delivery through SML Golf Carts.

We had a wonderful time - the property was so clean and organized! I loved the layout of the house - I could cook breakfast without worrying about waking anyone up, and there were a lot of things to do in the house on the afternoon that it rained. Also, it’s a great location on the lake

Great home

This was a great home at Smith Mountain. Everything was clean and ready for checkin. The view was gorgeous, the game room was a blast and the private dock was wonderful. I didn’t realize it was a mid entry home and my elderly mother had a hard time with the steps especially with the kitchen downstairs, so please keep that in mind when booking.

Quiet and Quaint

The house was situated in a private cove, so it had some privacy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The dock was a little old and could use some TLC, but we appreciated the roof on part of it for shade. Our family enjoyed playing pickleball on the court that was painted on the driveway. It is a little bit of a walk to the water and the walk back up to the house is fairly steep. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

We grew up in the Lynchburg, VA surrounding areas and have always vacationed at SML when we were kids. As adults, We still spend just as much time at the lake with our family. This is our second home at SML and we enjoy it during the time it is not rented out. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

It is a family friendly neighborhood that is great for evening walks and our road is surrounded by water views on both sides. It is also close to restaurants and stores in case you need anything last minute.

Very few lake front properties have the ability to drive down to the dock. Our road makes a circle around the pointe and you can park your car right in front of the dock for easy access!
